I've not seen any update on Steam yet. Where are you seeing these videos?

You can open your messenger (top-right of the forum) and type their name in when sending a PM. If they've never used the forum or have PMs turned off you may not be able to though.

This seems to be a bit of a Mandela Effect going on here. To reiterate, we have never had a feature to block comments from displaying for specific users on the NexusMods.com website. This has only ever been part of the old forums (and now the new forums).

Serious violation of NVIDIA Streamline licenses in Upscalers mods
Pickysaurus replied to other2w's topic in Debates
Please report any content you feel breaches our site rules and include any proof/context to help the moderators understand your complaint. In this case, I've personally spoken with Nvidia and they are fine with DLLs being shared as part of mods. Prior to speaking with Nvidia, these mods were removed based on the license you mentioned. -
This feature has never blocked comments. It simply filters their mods from your search results.

You cannot report user profiles anymore, but that was often not very helpful anyway. Users would often report a profile when they should've reported the mod/image/comment/PM that contains the content they felt was against our rules. Please use the report button on the content the member has posted.

This is not a feature we have available on the website. You can suggest it at https://feedback.nexusmods.com

You can try to message the mod author if you'd like to know more about why they have hidden them. The middle one is marked as "Obsolete" so it's pointing you to an alternative.

Cloudflare Verification Failure with Vivaldi Browser
Pickysaurus replied to JSBilks's topic in Site Support
I'm afraid we don't support Vivaldi, please try it in a different browser. If this works, your browser or browser addons may be causing the problem. -
Advice on why my uploaded mod was quarantined
Pickysaurus replied to tremstarr's topic in Site Support
Make sure you send an email. It can take a few days if we're swamped. We're currently training two new Community Managers so things haven't been moving as fast as normal. -
It sounds like you were using this as a tracking feature. Perhaps you could track these people on the site instead?
-
You've provided very little information here. Which extension? What are you doing to see this error?

A fix for this issue is now deployed. The workaround should no longer be required. Please let us know if anyone is still unable to change their avatar.

That varies wildly by all the different firewall software that exists out there. If you can't work it out, it may be worth checking with the support team for the firewall software. I don't use anything other than Windows Firewall, but I hope that anything third party keeps a log of what was blocked and why. If that exists, you may be able to add exceptions from there.

Friends are a feature that became "Followers" in the forum. This will not be returning to the main website anytime soon. We'll be making a news post on the main site confirming what's different about the new forum and which features will return in the near future. Right now the focus is on finishing off the restructure.

Hey guys, Thanks for all your feedback. It's been very helpful in nailing down the problem. A fix is currently in development but in short, it's a problem with login sessions which explains why only some users had this problem. The workaround for now if you face this issue is to visit any other page on Nexus Mods Next (here's a good example). Once on this page, you'll be prompted to log in again. After that, go back to https://next.nexusmods.com/settings/avatar and you'll be able to change your avatar!

The thread was removed by the user who posted it. We've allowed users to hide their own posts/topics in this forum.

If the user hasn't interacted with the community (i.e. posted something) I wouldn't worry about reporting them. It seems that the new forum doesn't have the option to report profiles, but the "damage" by them having such a username is minimal if they've not posted any content. Moderations will occasionally go through and review the online list for any stand-out bad names.

You need to add an exception to your firewall. Masterlists are fetched from GitHub so if you're blocking that you'll have a fair number of problems.

When asking for help with Vortex, please include as much detail as possible about the issue you are experiencing. Use the list below as guidance on what you should provide: Which version of Vortex are you using? (e.g. 1.8.0) Which game are you modding and which game store did you purchase it from? (e.g. Skyrim SE from GOG) Which mods are you trying to use? What steps did you take before you encountered the error? What is the specific error message you received? (Provide a screenshot if possible) Please keep in mind that this forum is for help with the Vortex application only. If you're having problems with mods in-game please consult the mod page or the game forums (found under "Community" -> "Forums" in the main site navigation while browsing mods for that game).
