  1. Staging folders are per-game. But you can only set them while managing said game. They will default to %appdata%\Vortex\{GAME ID}\mods The download folder is shared for all games.
  2. It's always a good idea to check the sticky posts. This is a well documented problem with your C++ redistributables (as the error says)
  3. Something we discovered last week is that Firefox doesn't properly support the cache invalidation used by all other browsers (due to a bug in the browser itself). This means that if you change your avatar you won't see the changes until you do Ctrl + F5 but this only applies to Firefox users. When another user changes their avatar you won't see the change for a few hours, this is just so we don't constantly have to refresh the avatars for everyone, which is very expensive.
  4. Just to clarify, the only acceptable way to submit a report is via the various "Report" or "Report abuse" buttons around the website. We don't allow public discussion of moderation so if you post a thread "calling out" the issue you may get a warning.
  5. We're aware of this. For some reason in some situations the wrong activity feed data shows on the old profiles. It'll be on the list to look at over the next few weeks. If you notice any pattern (i.e. Is it always the same user? Do they have a similar user ID to you? etc) that would be useful to know.
  6. If you're premium has lapsed it should change your badge here. As it clearly hasn't that might be a bug. Can you try logging out of the forum and back in again?
  7. If you're browsing the website and go to "Forums" in the "Community" tab of the main nav you will be directed straight to the club You can head to the "Overview" tab for a general roundup of what's new across the entire club.
  8. Various actions on the forums earn "points" and based on your point totals you'll get a little badge. We're using the Invision standard badges for now, but we'll probably change them to something a bit more exciting in the future.
  9. Can you be specific to which mod? I suspect the mod author goofed up their update and didn't mark v6 as a new version of v5 properly. Sadly, this can't be changed retroactively.
  10. There's an option to turn off validation in the Creations menu, if you do that will it prevent this override?
  11. As I told you when I hid your last post. Update your Vortex and Starfield extension. This hasn't been a problem since the 0.0.4 release. We're now on 0.5.6 for Starfield. The junction can be turned off in your settings.
  12. Your topic is now here You can find your content on your profile page.
  13. Sounds like something on your PC may have blocked the fonts required to display the page properly. Try turning off "Enhanced Tracking Protection" for NexusMods.com as that feature tends to break a lot of things.
  14. Are you able to provide any screenshots to illustrate your issue? I'm not sure I follow entirely what you're seeing.
  15. There is currently an issue uploading profile pictures in the latest Firefox 120.0.1 (it works in old versions). This issue is exhibited by the "Upload" button that shows after cropping the new image (shown below) Workaround This issue is the result of Firefox's "Enhanced Tracking Protection" feature. Click the shield in the URL bar to turn this off and upload as normal.
  16. Deploy order is an internal Vortex thing, load order is used by the game for priority loading of mod files.
  17. You should reinstall Vortex to repair this. It's likely something else on your PC (best case a security app, worst case it's malware) deleted or edited core files in the app.
  18. You're right this is something we're already discussing. We don't have an answer yet, but we'll be sure to communicate it once we do. We strongly oppose the "Pay me on Patreon to access my mods" model, so I doubt that will change even if we make an exception for Bethesda.net content. This is similar but also quite different. We can trust that certain guarantees of quality and content delivery will be upheld if MS/Bethesda are the ones operating the store.
  19. We'll see if we can make the join button more obvious!
  20. It doesn't look like you installed those mods from Nexus Mods in the first place. Vortex may not be able to find the metadata if you manually drop files into the app. The orange exclamation mark in the "Version" column may be indicative of your issue.
  21. This would imply that something outside of Vortex is messing with your plugins.txt file and causing mods to be disabled.
