Unfortunately your issue appears to be related to the game or mods you are using and is not related to Vortex. Try posting on the mod page for any mods you've got installed when this happens

This is usually a sign of a failing hard drive. Although the full error and a bit more about the content of when it appeared may help us narrow down the problem.

If your token is invalid there's problem something in your browser corrupting it (adblock etc) or you're copying it wrong.

By default Vortex asks Windows for the active user's App Data folder. This should result in something like C:\Users\mikew\AppData\Roaming - this is where the mods will be staged (i.e. unpacked) before they are linked to your game folder. You can change this location in Settings -> Mods but it should always be on the same HDD as the game itself. To me, it sounds like you just haven't deployed your mods properly. If the Starfield.exe file is missing you may have damaged your game install and need to verify the files on Steam.

9/10 times this error occurs because of your browser addons breaking the form. I recommend disabling adblock and any other addons at users.nexusmods.com as it doesn't contain ads anyway.

This field was removed between 4-7 September. Ultimately it's a fairly small change but there is a good reason for it. Firstly, we are in the process of upgrading this forum to the latest version of Invision Community and that involves breaking all the links/dependencies from other parts of the website. The data shown in the user area was being pulled directly from the forums. Once the forums are upgraded we'll also be looking at the other profile fields (such as Gender/Location/etc) and assess them. Secondly, it was discussed internally that this was a piece of Personally Identifiable Information that there wasn't really any business reason to keep in the way it had been stored. If you'd like to have your name displayed on your profile you can add it to the "About me" section.

Thanks for the report, an issue has been raised internally to address this.

A fix has been deployed for this issue. New notifications will now have the correct links in them. Any older notifications with the wrong links will not be changed.

This mod installs fine. The only problem I can see is that it stripped the superfluous files ( 1.jpg (1.4 MB) 2.jpg (1.4 MB) 3.jpg (1.4 MB) 4.jpg (1.2 MB) 5.jpg (1.8 MB) Readme.txt (252 B))

This isn't a Vortex problem. You've probably edited your INI files manually in a way the game doesn't recognise.

You'll have to provide some info for us to help you, this post doesn't include anything we can use to understand your problem.

Perhaps you've got some kind of preset in 7zip because I did the exact same thing and you can see the preview comes up for the file I added.

Whatever you used to create the ZIP file appears to have made one that is in a weird format, so the security scan could not check it properly (hence the "Preview file contents" part being blank). I've repacked it and reuploaded it to your page.

We're currently testing a new build of the extension on Discord if you'd like to try it out.

You should report this to the curator of the collection you are trying to use.
