You could also try the .NET 6 solution. Effectively something on your PC is borked up and/or your local anti-virus software is sabotaging Vortex.

Thanks for doing the test. Based on the results provided you cannot get a good connection to any of our servers around the world so I'm afraid this looks like an ISP fault. You may need to contact them to report the issue or try using a VPN.

Vortex Force Installing Unnecessary Extensions
Pickysaurus replied to MrWolfe's topic in Vortex Support
They're not unnecessary or they wouldn't download automatically. It's much like Windows Updates. Some of them fix features you'll never use but improve the overall stability and quality of the app. -

401 Error popping after the last update to Vortex
Pickysaurus replied to CowboyBlues's topic in Vortex Support
You're on the beta build. You can report it through the app or downgrade to the stable build for now. -
From the solution linked

Please reply to the same thread if you're still having problems rather than making multiple new ones. You can skip step 1 of the solution

Please check the pins or search the forum before posting. It's answered in the pinned post https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/12891273-common-solutions-megathread/&do=findComment&comment=124189977

There is a delay on the stats updating, this is done for performance reasons (updating the graphs for 450,000 mods in real time is quite intensive!). If there's something specific you feel is wrong with the stats please provide an example and we'll have a closer look though.

Up loading a collection but trouble with off site mods
Pickysaurus replied to rfranck's topic in Vortex Support
I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say. Perhaps you could provide some more details. -
There's nothing here we can help you with. Please feel free to make a new topic if you'd like to describe your issue properly rather than just ranting.

We do not support the Steam Deck officially. You should check with whomever told you how to set it up on there.
-
Check the Extensions list and see if you've somehow disabled it

Up loading a collection but trouble with off site mods
Pickysaurus replied to rfranck's topic in Vortex Support
If you didn't install the mod with Vortex, you can't add it to the collection. -
Up loading a collection but trouble with off site mods

Did you check the documentation? I feel this is well covered: https://modding.wiki/en/nexusmods/collections/create/add-external-mods If you're having a specific problem outside of the guidance there let us know though -
@xray: Your posts were removed because - as others have explained - you saw a post from a user celebrating their experience with Vortex and seem to have taken it as a personal attack against your opinion that Mod Organizer 2 is a better mod manager. There was no reason to derail this post with such comments, just let people enjoy things. The entire interaction here reminds me a little of the "Quit having fun" meme.

How can I wipe Vortex clean and reinstall mods from scratch?
Pickysaurus replied to dtander2077's topic in Vortex Support
You can select all mods in Vortex using Ctrl + A then remove them in batch. -

The "External Changes" window generally reports changes made by something other than Vortex (which is why Vortex is asking if you want to save/revert the changes). If you have an example mod and the versions you updated from/to I can try to replicate this problem but most often it's something on your local PC OR something on your PC delaying Vortex's ability to delete the files itself when performing an update so when it looks in the folder again it gets confused.

What problem were you having exactly? Did you speeds not increase (there's a pinned post about how to troubleshoot that)? Are you downloading collections but getting the free experience (this is known issue which can fixed by logging out of Vortex and back in)? On the second point, the current Vortex 1.9 beta includes some improvements which should allow the Premium upgrade to appear in the app a lot faster.
