  1. It sounds like you're describing the "Profiles" feature that already exists (check your settings!)
  2. I'm not sure if you actually did the full set of tests (as you've reported 10MB/s which is the placeholder text). It looks like your connection to your local CDN server is very bad. You can try using a VPN, report the fault to your ISP (unfortunately we see a lot of ISPs in your region with odd connectivity) or if you tests are correct a Premium plan may allow you to download at 10MB/s from your choice of server.
  3. Startup failed - Vortex is already running If you have encountered the issue above and you cannot see any running instance of Vortex anywhere in the Task Manager, please try the steps below. Restart your PC - verify that the issue still occurs after a full restart of Windows. Double-check Task Manager (the following step can cause damage to your modded setup if done incorrectly!) Head to the "%appdata%\Vortex\state.v2" folder and delete the file called "LOCK". Restart your PC. Start Vortex again.This issue is often caused by some kind of application on the user's machine preventing Vortex from properly deleting the "LOCK" file when it shuts down.

  7. You can ignore this, just having the game in "Managed" doesn't do anything on its own. You should manage the game and attempt solve whatever error comes up to unmanage it properly. Alternatively, you can go into "Extensions" and disable the extension for Factorio to hide it from Vortex all together.
  8. Try going into your data folder in Fallout 4 and delete the vortex_deployment.json file.

  10. All three of these problems can be attributed to local network issues. Something is blocking Vortex from talking to both our servers (to log you in) and GitHub (to get the LOOT masterlist).

  12. Search is one of the big projects we have on the planner. It's very difficult to get it "right" in that all users get the results they expect. You should definitely create/upvote suggestions on the feedback site that you feel will improve this.
  13. Delete the extension under "Site" in your Vortex downloads folder. Something screwy in your setup is causing this as we've never been able to replicate this issue.
  14. The default search (also called quicksearch) only searches titles, yes. However, the user can use the "advanced search options" after performing an initial search to narrow down by tags and other options.
  15. Unfortunately it looks like your connection to the closest free server is not particularly strong. You can try using a VPN or contact your ISP to report a fault.
  16. You should either post on the mod page or in the Skyrim SE forums. This is unrelated to Vortex.

  21. Can you try again now? I believe we've fixed the issue.
  22. Seems that reset the Vortex state did not work, I'm going to manually delete/re-apply the user's Premium plan to see if that helps.
