Sure. It fixes the problem. Anyway, i have a realtek audio system and i DON'T USE the Realtek driver. This could sound a "stupid" tip, but the windows standard drivers are very fast and better of the Realtek one (it seems incredible!). Try to uninstall the realtek driver. If it is solved, better (if not your problem is another one). Anyway i suggest to avoid install the realtek driver in windows 8. It works very well with the standard microsoft sound driver. Obviosly you cannot apply special effects, but for a "normal" use, the windows drivers solve several problems (like ctd, are faster and perform a better audio) because they don't apply preprocess manipulation to the audio sound/music.

Can you upload a screenshot somewhere? I repeat. YOU CANNOT RENDER THE GRASS ON DISTANCE and there is no mods that do it. The max distance for the grass is 12288 units (the 5x5 quad normal lod). I am sure of this, you can find the information also on the official forum. So i need a screenshot to understand where your grass is rendered because it's difficult to understand if it is the correct limit and you aspect something different or if really you have a problem.

It's the fastest one in the world with the hierarchical storage management and a full centralized management. Anti malware, anti virus etc.....for windows you need to pay it. I don't know how the cost is for linux systems. You can try to check it on the site.

If a file remains in pending state too much, reset the status to not scanned (so the file can be downloaded anyway).

It can be useful to have a method like a linkbutton (or link) near a file (ex. near the download button) to send a message (a pm) to every users who endorsed a mod in one click when you released a new version of the mod. A checkbox (like "Inform your endorsing users of the new version") could be also added during the uploading. This can be also an incentive to make users to endorse because if i endorse a mod that i like, i know that i will be informed on new versions in a direct way. Something like: Title: <the name of the mod> Body: New version released: <versione> (automatically picked up from the file version), link to the mod page: <link> (automatically picked up) - even better the direct link of the mod.

It can be useful to have a rememberer to endorse. You should add a new section with the "downloaded files" and a rememberer to view if I have endorsed, abstained or never done actions. I found the window of the "automatic server choice" very useful (now the old method has been restored). It is better to choose the server manually and ok, but the rememberer was quite useful.

If a file was not scanned it can be downloaded anyway, but if it is in scanning, we cannot download. The biggest problem isn't wait. But it seems several files are in a "pending state" for days.

The antivirus can be a good thing but probably it is overloaded. The problem is that the site performs the virus check on every file. This is unuseless. Users can put virus in an uploaded file (voluntarily or not) but a virus can be only in an exe or dll. It should be necessary to check if the file is an exe or dll (if it is a zip file, it can be scanned for exe or dll files in it) and then scan it for viruses. If the file is not an exe or dll (or doesn't contain these type of file) is unuseless scan it for viruses. It wastes resources and time for nothing.

Hello, i'm looking for a grass pack in .spt format (the tree format in .spt, NOT in .nif format). Do you know where i can find it? Could anyone create grass (it can be enough 1-2 types) in .spt format? As we know, Oblivion doesn't render the grass on the distant LOD. So i tried to create a plugin to implement the grass on the distant lod. It seems to work with a "tree mesh" that i used for test (speedtree). Now it seems that if i replaced the .spt file of the tree with one like grass (and not a tree!), i have created the grass for the distant LOD and Tamriel is covered by trees and grass. I will credit who helps me when i will publish the mod. Thanks.

A user clicks there, then choices the member type (period) and there is an "about membership" page with description of the service and the "add to cart" button. Is there a word like "DONATE" or "DONATION" ......no. Am i wrong? That's a payment to buy something (benefits). In the last line the description reports: "Premium Membership is not required to use the Nexus sites, and you should only pay if you would like these added benefits." REPEAT! If you (all) use my money to maintain the site or to buy a beer in a pub!, for me there is no difference, i'm happy to donate/pay for a site like this. But by that description in the membership purchase page, you already create a discrimination between users, so my request was justify. If i want to give you 100 euro for a donation is a thing, subscribing a recurring payment to be a premium member is another. A fast ctd as the your one is due to a script problem or incompatibility between mods. Disable mods and activate them in steps to find the problem.

My suggestion is not about a different treatment between users and i'm not speaking about to buy something, but simply i'm talking about something like a "gratitude" to the premium users (who "sustain" the forum) to be more "visible". Today there is written "premium" in the user section and it's good. I wrote another idea to give a premium member a new "plus". If coloring isn't a good idea, i suggest to group the users in "sections".
