  1. You should see very good performance 60 fps in both games. https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp%5B%5D=2906&cmp%5B%5D=3595 The core i3 system is quite a bit faster than the old Phenom system. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp[]=2025&cmp[]=368 You could also get this card. https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/components-upgrades/graphics-cards/pny-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-graphics-card-10157450-pdt.html And with the money you save you could get a proper quad core CPU. https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SCPUINTI54570A
  2. Lately I have had more driver issues with windows 7 than 10. Windows 10 actually seems to work better on some of my ancient socket 775 systems. I only use windows 7 when I want to use older graphics cards that don't have windows 10 drivers
  3. FMod, from all that I have read you should avoid killer NIC's like the plague. It is a shame though, the Asrock board looks fantastic.
  4. I recently bought this to switch between my headphones an speakers on my pc, but it also works with two inputs an one output. http://www.delock.de/produkt/87699/pdf.html?sprache=en
  5. A CTD usually isn't a hardware issue, have you tried reinstalling windows? Have you checked the temperatures when gaming?
  6. I totally missed the SLI. I would recommend a corsair RM750X
  7. A 650W powersupply would be your best option, The cpu is 95W and the 1080 is about 200W. The entire PC will use 350W at full load at most. You could also get away with a 550W PSU. Nvidia recommends a 500W https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/10series/geforce-gtx-1080/
  8. A RX480/580 or RX470/570 I would not get a second 270X, crossfire is getting less supported.
  9. A R9 280X would provide a little more fps. You can't use it with your old card in the same system. That 280X seems to be overpriced a GTX 1050TI preforms about the same, uses half the power and is cheaper. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp%5B%5D=3466&cmp%5B%5D=2702&cmp%5B%5D=3595
  10. I have a amd3+ 760GM-P34(FX) (MS-7641) That motherboard does not support the FX-8350 it does not support any 125W cpu's https://www.msi.com/file/test_report/TR19_24433.pdf
  11. Also what motherboard do you have? A FX-8350 will not work well with a budget motherboard.
  12. How do they not know the best CPU air-coolers that have ever existed? I have noticed they are a lot more expensive in North America though
  13. I use https://www.amazon.com/Asus-Accessory-32Gbit-flexibility-Retail/dp/B017YUCAXS/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1493227199&sr=1-1&keywords=asus+m.2+adapter with a 960 evo and it seems to work fine. A m.2 drive requires 4 lanes of pci-e so you need an adapter that has a pci-e x4 connector to get full speed.
  14. Core i7 4930k Noctua NH-U14S ASUS x79 DELUXE 16GB Corsair vengeance Quad kit ASUS Geforce gtx 1080 Strix Phanteks enthoo primo Corsair AX860i Samsung 850 PRO 256GB Samsung 850 EVO 500GB Samsung 960 EVO 500GB A large and varied collection of 4TB harddisks
  15. You do have PCI-e 3.0 if you have that Xeon processor. https://ark.intel.com/products/82765/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E5-1650-v3-15M-Cache-3_50-GHz A single 3-5TB HDD would be faster and more secure than your current setup, Things with moving parts eventually fail and a 75GB raptor is pretty old by now.
  16. It depends on your power-supply. It appears to be 350W. So a gtx1050ti would be a good option. For a future build you could save everything but the power-supply Also how is that a gaming pc? That's just plain lying to people.
  17. The whole 1155 platform is very expensive the 2120 is 65 dollar and a motherboard 90. A pentium g4560 is also 65 dollar but the motherboards are much cheaper, and cheap socket 1151 motherboards have the same features as high end socket 1155 boards.
  18. A 2600k will most likely bottleneck a 1070 but not so much that it wouldn't be an upgrade. A radeon RX480 would be a nice upgrade. The core i7 3770k would be the only cpu upgrade on your current motherboard and it would be a giant waste of money. An overclock to at least 4Ghz should extend the life of your CPU, you would need a p67 or z68 motherboard to overclock though.
  19. I would not get an old dual core cpu, it is hard to get a good socket 1155 motherboard. A pentium G4560 would be a better option.
  20. I have been looking at this LG monitor lately http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27UD58-B-4k-uhd-led-monitor It seems to be a little hit and miss with the backlight bleeding though, but that is a problem with almost all IPS monitors It is very good deal in Europe at €360
  21. Maybe in addition to a new GPU you could overclock your CPU. What motherboard do you have?
  22. It is very rare that a CPU goes bad after a while, Power supply's are filled with components that can go bad after a while. So try and clean your system of dust and maybe check the airflow in your case. If you still have the same problems after that I would suspect your power supply.
  23. Samsung TV's aren't known for there speed, also if your going for cheap as possible you are going to have a bad experience. http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/ku6300 This review says it isn't bad for gaming
