3d scopes doesn't affect all weapons, so far as I know..... and some of your mods, I have no idea what they actually do. :)

Hhhmmmm..... I am not finding any specific commands that will remove elements of the HUD.... you can nuke the whole thing with tm.... (which also hides the console.....) But, that's it. I *think* the HUD/menus are all SWF files, (flash) it might be possible to manipulate various menu elements via script...... but, I know very little about swf files, or papyrus. :D

Try removing live dismemberment.

I attempted to replace my GTX 1060 with an RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra Gaming..... Nice card. Big. Heavy. HUGE heat sinks. But, aritfacting and lines, even in the boot splash screen. Waiting to hear back on my advance RMA..... but, even with the issues, it is more than DOUBLE the performance of my old 1060. :D When I get one that actually works properly, I do believe I am gonna be a happy camper. For a while. :D

4 Terrabyte HDD?? I suspect that may be part of your problem..... Generally, the bigger the drive, the slower they are. Unless it's a 15000 RPM drive..... I have also seen that kind of behavior on drives that the cache is having issues..... One of the reasons I went to solid state drives for my games.

Climate most certainly plays a role. Extreme temps, heavy humidity, etc, all exacerbate any underlying lung issues you may have. I have been a smoker for most of my life. I smoke a lot less now in my later years.... but, still around half a pack a day or so. I roll my own, (loose tobacco, pre-made tubes with filters, and a little machine) so it's a LOT cheaper than buying 'real' cigarettes.... just less convenient. (which also contributes to me smoking less.....) It's the last vice I have left... I don't drink, I don't do drugs, and I don't carouse with disreputable women..... etc.... so, I smoke. :D On REALLY cold days, I don't smoke much at all. Mainly because the cold air combined with the smoke, REALLY does a number on my lungs. I don't smoke in my house, as my wife has breathing issues all her own, and smoking one in the house would really screw her up..... I can't smoke inside at work either..... So, outside I go. The really hot/humid days...... also do a number on me.... not so much related to the smoking though, I also have MS, so, temp extremes really mess with me in any event. I am sure smoking doesn't help. :D

Pretty sure there was a mod that allowed you to fast travel FROM an interior cell.... not sure I have ever seen one that allows you to travel TO an interior cell though. (unless it's an interior that acts like an exterior???) Isn't there a setting in one of the cell info windows to Allow Fast Travel?? Or some such?

Hhhmmm.... I use scrap everything, and don't have any performance issues in those areas. Oddly enough, I get weird visuals in places that Scrap everything doesn't even touch....... I would REALLY love to understand that one. (and that is in INTERIOR cells......)

Your hardware should be more than adequate to the task, but, how much system RAM do you have? Might try opening up performance monitor, leave it running, play for a bit, and when the game starts to lag, exit out, and have a look at the graphs, to see where the basic problem is. (filling up ram, maxing the cpu, hdd activity, etc. I *think* win 10 pro will also monitor GPU memory as well.)

Scrap everything only breaks precombine in settlement areas. Outside of those, it doesn't touch 'em. Gotta be careful on install, on which options you select though.

Don't use ANY manager to install OBSE. Just drag and drop the required files into the correct folder. Create a shortcut to OBSE_Loader on your desktop, and start the game from there.

I work at a local computer shop, and we have been selling video cards on EBAY for absolutely stupid money. That is, when we can even get them...... The new versions that came out today are the Limited Hash Rate fellers, so, supposedly, aren't good for crypto-currency mining. Last time NVidia tried that, the drivers were hacked in short order, and they worked fabulously for mining. We'll see if the same holds true for the LHR cards.... It's supposedly a new chip, so, maybe, maybe not. Still and all, there are a LOT of gamers out here that have been waiting to get one of the new 30 series cards.... we have a waiting list for them at work.... and folks calling just about every day to see if we have them, when we might get them, and can you put me on the list as well?? :D I suspect it's gonna take some time for supply to catch up with demand.

Can you load an earlier save?

I think that is NotePAD++ :smile: I keep mine locked in a box, in a closet, in my bedroom. That way, I always know where it is........ I think....... Well, maybe.....

The uninstaller doesn't remove everything..... And if you are using a mod manager, you need to uninstall all your mods via that, before uninstalling the game, else the hard links remain... and the game thinks you still have mods in there.

Does it crash before you get to the main menu?

this Almost worked for me. got the wb back and operational. oh good.... but it calls itself/identifies as 'Mahkra settlement' , SO it is a very lonely place as nobody will come, now ss2 city plans ...Nope.. but i have private settlement to my self. cool but not what i wanted. any help with 're-identifying' the settlement? tried a minor move and reposition, resetting/completing quest, leaving for a couple days game time....nothing helps... that I know of. i know this is an OLD post but ... HELP Try the FO4Edit solution, and delete the reference from the mod that accidentally moved it. That *should* take care of it.

True. You could find the transmitter tower, I suppose, just with your pipboy...... But, as the institute doesn't have a physical entrance........ Still not going to find your way inside. :D

Try removing the better locational damage stuff. See if that makes a difference.

FOSE has some memory fixes in it, as does ENB. Not sure if running both helps or not.... but, that's what I do. My game is pretty stable. It's just other mods that make it crash. Updating, or, in some cases, rolling back, those mods, and I can play for hours without a hiccup.

point to note - if a mod hasn't been updated for a while, it only indicates the mod is - to all intents and purposes - stable. you should check the mod page and if you see many unanswered posts reporting bugs - avoid it - but mcm is as stable today as it was a year ago. Yep. MCM has been around for quite some time, and the original version (Oblivion??) worked out most of the kinks. Later games, development time wasn't nearly as long.
