This is interesting, my 980ti is running super smooth. But then, I use driver 368.22 (368.75 works well as well). Newer drivers have given me problems, even after ddu proper install. I'll have to check how 4k upscale runs but at 1080p caed is downclocking and sitting at 32c most of the time, not even breaking a sweat :)

Ah, is SMIM confirmed working with new SSE? Anyhow that looks like LOD water is not going away

From what I understand they making new NMM with author from MO. Regarding these other things like merging and 255 limit, 1. Merging is not simple task that should be trusted to automatic tools, one is better off manually doing that or leaving to author and 2. Until DRAM can match the speed of L2/L3 cache, you probably don't want any more than 65k addresses for formids, lag would be terrible. Thats my first thought when talking about converting esp table to 64-bit.

Need Recommendations of Skyrim mods that work on SE
SMB92 replied to HenrikV1's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
The most basic mods should work, but reports of textures, meshes and even some vanilla-asset house/building mods are not working or glitches. For the latter, I've seen people say their house mods have "disappearing objects" etc, which seems to me similar to precull bugs found in F4 but I am unsure if that could be the case. Trial and error for now. -
Will all the amazing mods slowly make their way to skyrim SE?
SMB92 replied to Dragnacity's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
They've always delayed the CK. Probably a good thing they actually do a public closed beta now, at least it comes out a bit less buggy (and I say, a "bit"). As far as ENB.... Well anybody been following F4 ENB? All but given up.... -
[FIX] Anyone Who Gets Shiny Landscape Textures
SMB92 replied to terrainer's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Semi off topic, but do you think this is the same problem with the Fallout 4 fake water puddles on the roads? The seem to be shiny like this (but then if you look a certain direction, the shine will disappear altogether?) -
Mismatching Color Body/Face ; Neckseam Special Edition
SMB92 replied to Jocesquale's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
This has always been a problem with Beths games, it is particularly bad in Oblivion nd Fallout 3/NV. It's not as bad in this game and don't see it in F4 so far. -
SkyrimSE what are your first thougths....
SMB92 replied to PeterMartyr's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
I can't remember, it was such a full on experience from the time it preloaded to the time unlocked! -
Funny, my char on SSE looks very similar to my F4 char. I seemed to notice they don't have the incredible blocky faces now though. But yeah as mentioned in another thread here, they weren't gunning to recreate anything, only touch it up a bit.

I would have added things one or two at a time tbh, but I couldn't twll ya based off that list, games to new so I don't fully get what ticks it off yet. BTW even though ur rig is not a laptop, the could have built it like one so to speak. I've nevwr heard or seen a dedicated 745 card. Food for thought. What cpu you got?

SkyrimSE what are your first thougths....

My first "thoughts" include profane words that are often used to describe the problems/bad performance of original Skyrim by many users, however now being used for the exact opposite :D -
Oh. How many mods u loaded?

To everybody whining about SSE not looking beatiful...
SMB92 replied to Nasdar210's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Just to mention too, I am not a big fan of DOF, but I think Beth nailed it here. It's not overbearing and works at the right times. -
Driver uninstall utility. 745 sounds like a laptop? In that case don't try ddu. Possibly the bug where your cpu also has a gfx on it and driver is bugging out. Apologies I forget the solution as I haven't had the problem for a while... I'll have a look.

I have to say, this is a rather silly question. Of course there is interest in it, it's a 64 bit amped up version of Skyrim! Don't mean to sound rude. I'm like you, I find my 80gb Oldrim install to be redundant now. So in meantime I will clock it at vanilla and get all the achievements while waiting :). -
What gfx card? Tried DDU uninstall driver and reinstall new one?

If this is true Bethesda want to be ready to Remaster the game again another 5 years because I'll still be playing it -

Good god that's horrifying thought you were talking about the snow etc being overly shining in the sunlight. -
Hey folks, just wanted to share a curious find. I'm wondering if they have implemented similar precull system like F4, because sometimes I notice objects disappearing, particularly if I'm in front of a well or something. I've seen sections of walls go blank to whole distance blanking out, albeit pretty rare. Anybody else seeing this? All otherwise game is smooth as butter on Ultra, wasn't happy about secondary shadow distance but (they ser it to low like f4 because consoles)

You'd have to modify the script to remove the message...

I think you'll find lens flare has a bit to do with this, it does for me. That and it makes me feel like I can climb up the candle light flares like a ladder XD -

Well, I don't think it looks crappy :). I like Vividian ENB visuals better but nothing wrong with SE. Maybe a bit to foggy at times but yeah its cold i get it. I'm nclined to platinum the game now on stock. If I can get better performance/solid 60fps @ 10,000 draw calls then the original (which tends to tank at 6000+), then I would of happily paid for it. But they gave freely, and I honestly feel Bethesda has done us a solid in every way. -
It would probably do low to medium settings, CPU is not so bad. As for changing the card, well it's a big job, if possible. You have to find out if similar model laptop had an upgraded card, find a spare part of that card, and then go through hell to install it. I done it with a Toshiba Qosmio X500 once (Nvidia 210 to a 250). Didn't really get a massive boost. I'm a mobile technician so for me I understand what to do, but I wouldn't recommend trying it yourself if you're not too savvy.

You can also manage manually installed mods with Wrye Flash. Extract the files to folder, name the folder after the mod, put in bash installer folder, install via Wrye Flash. This way you can still monitor file conflicts and it will reinstall any old files that have been overridden when you uninstall mods, just like NMM.

CTD when I try to scrapping in Vault 88

Perhaps something in the save game is holding it together. Some data that is no more since the update.
