  1. Well, he is the Madgod. Coulda been a trick in Oblivion and he stole your body after all was said and done, then made you into what he appears to be in Skyrim :D
  2. You mean Martin Septim? Or you mean current Dovahkiin? lol
  3. Depends on the compression and stuff. I think if people who have decent microphones (not tinny mics, but decent ones) there is no reason people can't start now. Maybe upload them to youtube or something? Then we could download them all and collate them into a mod, whoever wants to do that bit (i.e. the bit that takes the most skill). I would be prepared to mix the recordings so they sound good and compress them to a managable size. Before I start trying to get good recordings, I would need to know what books are in the game, as well as know what someone is going to use them.
  4. Wait... wouldn't he be.... you, from TES4??? Because, you know, in Oblivion... you take his throne and whatnot... so... :psyduck: My head hurts...
  5. Now that could be interesting, don't know if I would want to though. Have to think about it.
  6. Well, I'd opt for a new world, also postponing updating the server until the plugins are ready.

    Taxation

Taxes are sadly, no matter how you spin it, a necessity. I think they could easily be a bit more equal across the board, with every individual paying the same income tax percentage, and every corporation paying a tax slightly higher than that, but getting rid of them entirely? No, it wouldn't work, as was already stated, you would end up with situations where one has to build the road in front of their house. Morally speaking, taxation inequality is wrong. As an example, if a typical working class individual must pay $0.10 for every $1 they make, white collar bob should have to do exactly the same thing. It wouldn't hurt his ability to live a damn good life, and he shouldn't get special breaks for making more money compared to the guys that clean his office. Sure, let him earn more money, he worked his way up there, usually anyway, but tax him in the same fashion. To put it bluntly, no, taxation itself is not morally wrong, or theft. Although I will agree that it borders on coercion. Taxation inequality is wrong though.
  8. That was sweet! XD And I usually hate rap XD
  9. That would change a few things. Are you sure that is the case? I am pretty sure, not absolutely certain, but everything I have read about it on the net indicates it is.
  10. You mean because you have to learn steel and etc to get to dragon? I'm thinking there is a heavy and light version of each. No, I mean because Daderic weapons are generally better the glass, and ebony better then elven .etc. Weapons don't have a weight class. They are just one handed or two handed...i think? Smithing is a circular tree, so no you don't. Work around light stuff up to dragon, then down to daedric. And why not take them all? Good money in it.
  11. The below are listed in order of importance to my character build, the top of the list taking highest priority. Initially I would be focusing on my weapons of choice: Dual axes, so I would need to get over the course of play: Armsman (upping it until it is 5 at every chance I get) Dual Flurry (upping it at every chance I get, but favoring previous listed perks, this will continue for all multi-rank perks) Hack and Slash Dual Savagery (as soon as I can get it) Fighting Stance Savage Strike Critical Charge Paralyzing Strike That is 15 perks, so next I would focus on my armor of choice: Light armor Agile Defender 1-5 Custom Fit Unhindered Wind Walker Matching Set Deft Movement That is a total of 25 perks now, so I would then focus on my next skill of choice: Smithing Steel Smithing Dwarven Smithing Elven Smithing Orcish Smithing Advanced Armors Arcane Blacksmith Glass Smithing Ebony Smithing Daedric Smithing Dragon Armor That is 35 total perks, so next would be Enchanting Enchanter 1-5 Soul Squeezer Fire Enchanter Frost Enchanter Soul Siphon Storm Enchanter Insightful Enchanter Corpus Enchanter Extra Effect That is 48 in total at this point, so next I would get: Novice Restoration Respite In the end I would like to end up with light Dragon armor, and two war axes one with fire and shock, the other with ice and shock. My armor would be enchanted to fortify my health and stamina, and my helm would be enchanted to increase my one handed skill. I would utilize the restoration magic to allow me to continue fighting in extremely tough situations. So yeah, that is about it lol.
  12. I'm getting it delivered to my door day of release, CE  Buuuuut.... until then... I have to try to keep myself busy. Dead Space 2 helped a little... but I have beaten it now  I don't know what to do until then, other than try to fix a bug in my main mod for NV...
  13. I joined these forums years ago. I found them while looking for mods for Morrowind, and at the time I didn't even know there was an official forum :wallbash: During the time of Fo3, I actually started modding a bit, and communicating with the community, and I loved it. Also during that time the "I think Fo3 is better/worse than the originals because..." kind of debates were going on quite a bit, and I was looking for other input and an intelligent discourse on the topic. I found that here, but I stupidly attempted to try to get into that kind of discussion going over at the Beth forums. My first and only post there got me a big fat warning and a few days to think about what I typed there, even though all I did was point out the, from my viewpoint, simplistic and lazy story writing, and why i felt that way. I was nothing but polite about it. After that, well, I decided I would just never log into the forums there again and stuck around here. TL;DR I feel more comfortable here than at any other game community site around the net.
  14. You forgot to do some 1080°s and backflips on the way down, combo-breaker-time  If someone releases a mod that allows for this sort of thing, I'm so getting a vid or screencaps of that exact scenario.
  15. YOU DANG KIDS! Or... I LIKE KITTENS! Or... CHEEEEEEESSSSSEEEE! Any of these would be acceptable. lol
  16. I say sled. Because, cmon, the image of an uber-hardened Norse warrior sledding down a snowy mountain to get away from an angry dragon would just be too hilarious! :teehee:
  17. Posting a lot of new threads? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is lol
  18. That would be cool, but since I don't work with models, I don't know how plausible it would be. Good idea though!
  19. Well, honestly, the TES universe is ripe for expansion. As players we have only seen a few time frames. I think it would be interesting to see a movie based around the foundation of the Empire. So long any TES movies/TV series made cover times that aren't covered by games, I think it could be awesome.
  20. Stabs the stem of a rose through Thor-zombie's eyes and swirls it around like a coffee stir-stick.
  21. I like having it for realistic collateral damage. I don't actively hunt kids. But if a dragon attacks a city, and a kid dies, it makes it that much more serious to hunt that dragon. This is exactly why I install said mods. Gives me a reason to rage hunt an enemy if they were rampaging in a town.
  22. Don't think so, but it will likely have Steam achievements if your into that sort of thing. Personally, I'm not. lol
