  1. Do you have any mods installed that change those textures? Try this if not: RIGHT click on Skyrim and click properties. Go to the local files tab. Then click verify integrity of game files. That should redownload any files you are missing.
  2. So you now have no mods installed either thru mod manager or steam? Like an alternative start mod? Start by trying this: RIGHT click on Skyrim and click properties. Go to the local files tab. Then click verify integrity of game files. That should redownload any files you are missing.
  3. I could see either either Agent of righteous might or Thieves guild requirements having that effect.
  4. Ok don't panick. Open Steam and click on Libraries. RIGHT click on Skyrim and click properties. Go to the local files tab. Then click verify integrity of game files. That should redownload any files you are missing. Then go into your Skyrim folder and right click on Skyrim.exe and send a copy to your desktop and start the game either with that or in Steam.
  5. Maybe try deleting the mod then downloading it from the Steam workshop. Then Steam installs it for you. Just make sure the box is checked. Make sure you sign into steam http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=11444&searchtext=i+like+mortars
  6. If ya can post your load order and a copy of your skyrim.ini (its in your documents/games/skyrim). Its just a text file you can open with notepad. And yeah when we figure this out we'll be scratching our heads wondering how we didn't see something even a puter 101 student would have recognized right away :P
  7. Ok so they are installed and activated in NMM? Which mods are not working just the DLC's? Did you verify your files thru Steam?
  8. There probably is no pathing for the npc's where the door comes out. So they kinda "can't walk near that spot". They are just popping p in the nearest spot they can. Its called "navmesh"in the editor and there are tutorials about it on youtube.
  9. I forget where it is but you did check the box to tell the item to respawn right?
  10. Just do a search for Skyrim BSA Unpacker. Very easy to use but ya better have some extra HD space
  11. If you added a bunch of texture mods and it started getting glitchy after that then ya might be able to blame yourself for your current problems. But I keep finding, time and time again, that the game is responsible for causing these problems as your character (saves) advance in time played. Skyrim is a great game but it has its quirks. Memory leaks, bloated saves, etc.. I've experienced and helped ppl with the same problem it seems like every day on here. The one thing that I've found that really helped (besides cleaning your saves which is hit and miss) is to limit your fps in game as these things start to rear their ugly head. Many will disagree I'm sure but try this. We've found for some reason your card will utilize more of its "power" if you limit your fps. I've been using a program called MSI Afterburner and its display server. I turn off v-sync in my video card drivers then limit the fps in game to 30 (which is plenty). Have a look at this thread I bet it will help: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/955666-skyrim-low-fps-on-my-msi-ge60-0nd/ It made Skyrim run smooth as silk again for me on all ultra settings and every texture mod I could find. AMD Phenom 2 Quad Core 985 Geforce GTX560 Geforce GTS250 (running physics) 4 Gigs Ram If ya really wanna educate yourself on video card inner workings have a read here: http://www.tweakguides.com/Graphics_1.html
  12. Just use a couple of mods to do it. Ya could use one mod that adds more money to the merchants. One that allows them to buy stolen stuff. Another to increase the sale price of items. If ya just want money then theres mods that just add a chest filled with coins. Mix and match. Rinse and repeat :armscrossed:
  13. As far as I'm concerned the nexus mod manager is near perfect since the last few updates. No more dropped downloads and the sorting feature rules.
  14. Try verifying your game files thru Steam.
  15. Found this fix dunno if will work tho. Everyone else seems to have fixed it by using the Ethereal shout. You can usually fix this by reloading the save. Using quicksave then a quickload can be done in under 3 seconds and should restore you Wait a sec... Did you let the girl in the college practice her spell on yo? If ya did I think ya need to return to her.
  16. Very cool Grand. Gonna save that link myself and give a go tonight on my own machine.
  17. Found this about your transferring question: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/888936-transferring-quest-stages-between-saves/
  18. If you have it checked when ya start the game it should work. The mod looks like it leaves spell tombs in certain places for you to find and learn. You looked in the described places right?
  19. Verify your files thru steam and check in your advanced video setting (in Skyrim) there is alot of settings for view distances that might be effecting it.
  20. How did ya clean the file to make it so small if I may ask?
  21. I'm sure it could be done via the creation kit via a mod but I don't think theres any way to do it with a quick console command or anything like that.
  22. Well to start with I would try both deactivating all your mods to see if they are causing it and maybe try replacing your ini file if you made a backup. Also verify your files thru steam. Also a google search of crashes near whiterun may provide some help. https://www.google.com/search?source=ig&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS245&q=skyrim+crash+near+whiterun&oq=skyrim+crash+near+whiterun&gs_l=igoogle.3..0j0i22i10i30j0i22i30.828.10725.0.10963.26.23.0.3.3.0.129.2486.1j22.23.0...0.0...1ac.1.y2-JlkwIeeg
  23. Looks like the Well placed weapons mod has several different files ya can use depending on what body type you have. Make sure ya downloaded the correct one. You can also deactivate those mods and see if that fixes it. Then you will know what is causing the problem at least.
  24. Mannnnnnnn..... The only thing I can think of is to start deactivating mods and hope ya find the one that is borking it up.
  25. Have a look here also. Abit different but still animation problems. page 2 some fixes were found. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/699170-attack-speed-and-animation-bug/page-2
