Do you have the box checked for object fade in or whatever in the Skyrim options? This makes stuff fade in instead of just popping up. Some ppl seem to swear by changing some of these settings others swear ya shouldn't.

Well Skyrim can only use 3gb for starters. Other than the usual, like turning off any background programs and maybe optimizing textures, sometimes its just a matter of finding what exactly is causing it. You can use the graph on gpuz to find out how much vram your using etc. Try going in your nvidia driver section and turning off triple buffering and maybe try the half refresh rate vsync. Could also be scripts running. There are some good tutorials around on how to optimize your skyrim ini file settings but that can lead to other problems. Gopher on youtoob also has some good tutorials on using BOSS and TES5Edit to check for incompatible mods etc.. I would see if your getting close to the 3gb mark on vram. I think Gopher has a video explaining that also.

Start by getting the patches for Enhanced Blood. You'll need the DLC ones at least. Might wanna also grab all the unofficial patches on the Nexus also. Then run BOSS and TES5EDIT. Heres a video if your not fimiliar with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-517uXBa4Is

Open the screenshot manager (right click steam, screenshots) then select the "show on disk" button. Should bring you to the folder where your screenies are. Keep in mind there are 2 screenshot systems and therefore 2 settings you are working with I think. One is the "Steam" system for taking screens of any game on steam, the other is actually part of the Skyrim game.

Are you talking about the little effect icon that SKYUI adds? I think ya can shut them off in the mcn menu if it is.

Try this, back up your altered .ini files, then delete both from your Skyrim folder (skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini), then start up the game via Steam. This should make new files. If it does not work just put your old ones back in there.

I think it stands for.... Upper Ninnie Placement :woot: You should be able to just follow the directions in this file: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10470/? Run BOSS afterwards to straighten out your load order.

Open your magic menu then go to the tab all the way to the right. It show anything listed there as effecting your strength or carry weight? Try loading another older save and see how that is also.

Open Steam and go to your game library. Right click and choose properties. I think on the downloads tab or something there is an option to verify game files.

Are you guys able to log into your premium account on Skyrim Nexus? I can log into the forums but not the site for downloads etc. Don't wanna send a bug report in, sure they already have a stack of them. NMM seems to log in ok.

Pretty sure that videocard only has half a gig of memory on it, maybe a gig max. If you use any texture mods they will use that right up. If you have a choice between like 1k or 2k textures always use the smaller ones. Other than knocking down your settings or resolution that may be the most ya can do. Their are plenty of video tutorials on how to optomize windows by shutting down background programs etc but thats only gonna do so much.
