More information and perhaps better sentence structure (I do not know if English is your native language or not, if not you might want to post that as well) might gain more interest. Right now I do not even know about New Canaan, what kind of place it is, what are your plans for it? You say you want to add quests perhaps more information on those would help as well, also in game pictures are always nicer to look at then GECK pictures.

This tutorial might help: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Porting_hairs_to_Fallout

Load the hair mesh up in Blender and refit it to the ghoul's head then make a new .egm, ghouls have a different head mesh then normal humans.

Why not just use Fallout New Vegas Redesigned 2, its made by the person who made Fallout 3 Redesigned (aka Project Beauty)? If you have a favorite mod in FO3 you can easly check to see if that same modder made anything for FNV by clicking on the Other profiles in the modders profile.

Pretty much the best voiced companions are, in my personal opinion and personal order. Female: Willow Melissa Wendy Sunny Males: Niner Desmond Benny Marcus

Manual installs is the BEST option, use FOMM/Wyre/NMM for replacers for ease of uninstalling. Everything else should be looked through manually, edited manually, and installed in a way you have complete control over (aka manually, or imo Wyre). This odd fascination of having things automated for you at all times is just so strange to me because people have been modding for many many many years before any of these programs where out, by doing it manually and there for actually having knowledge about mods. Now when I ask someone to check their texture folders for my mod's unique folders, none of them seem to even know they have a Data folder... :(

These seem to be the main files to me. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35451 Or with NMM http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/48222

Simply type Breeze in the search engine....it will bring up all the Breeze armors and the main file.
-
I dont like NMM, so I use FOMM only for mods that require it and everything else I install manually or use Wyre.

Is your game fully up to date? -
It was removed from nexus because the mod maker used stolen poser assets.

Why does no one import companions from other games?
nivea replied to ThatsSo's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Its not legal, so you will none of the mods that "imports/rips" items or companions from any games (unless you got permission from the makers) on nexus. That and is just hard to make a companion, you can not rip the written dialog/scripts/items/triggers from a different game into FNV you would have to make them all by hand. Only thing you can rip of a companion is their clothing/skin/voices. -
Mass Effect in Fallout New Vegas, I think so !!!!!
nivea replied to dragnhuntr666's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Well the companies do not like that kind of thing because they are in competition. If you paid and owned all the games you can make the mod yourself so long as you do not release it, thats perfectly fine. Ethically I can not say, I would not feel bad about making and useing a mod like that if I owned all the games myself. Others will say its not right to do so even if you bought the games because you do not own the assets themselves. Then there are people who will say as long as no one is making money off any of the items in the mod it should be fine to upload all they want. This kind of thing is left up to you, and your ethics, but none of them are allowed on Nexus and since this is a Nexus forum thats really all that matters. -
Mass Effect in Fallout New Vegas, I think so !!!!!
nivea replied to dragnhuntr666's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
For Liara he more then likely took her face model and textures straight from ME, then put them in Blender and attached them to a FNV skeleton and body. Yes he did do some work to make that happen, BUT he did NOT make the meshes and textures himself those are taken from ME a game you need to pay for. If you did not buy the game you should not get the stuff from it for free, thats stealing and why its not allowed. Now if he took a screenshot of Liara for inspiration and by hand made a new head model and then hand made brand new face textures, that would be perfectly ok to release because he DID make the stuff himself from scratch. Thats the difference between ripping and creating one just takes someones elses already made items and puts then in another game, the other makes brand new items inspired by other games but did all the work themselves. -

Nexus does not allow ripped items (aka stolen content), the modder is right to not post their stuff here because it would cause them to be banned. -
Resurrecting over year old threads is not always a great idea, try to keep a eye on the dates. :) Posted 28 October 2010 - 04:27 AM

I don't understand what this could possibly mean when I see all these mods with hair from the Sims? Newly made Sim hairs are made by Sim modders just like those modders found on nexus, if you get permission from those modders you can make use of their stuff again just like modders on nexus. HOWEVER Monster mod contained stolen (sadly it was) assets from other games (such as borderlands) and stolen content from other modders (who asked that those items be removed but where ignored or refused), so even through Dogtown1 (monster mod's creator) created a great and popular mod he is not above Nexus law and was banned. You might want to keep a eye on this mod though, it looks to be very promising: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/862936-monster-wars-new-vegas-edition/

Well, I did a Steam game cache restore, and it did fix two files. After that, it still crashes when I die(the majority of the time) and my computer continues to make a buzzing sound(that resembles a tape being rewound) until I restart it. To be specific it stops making the sound when my sound card makes that audible click that it makes when the PC shuts down or starts up. At that point, the loud sound stops. I've never had this problem with any other game, or in general. I just can't think of what could be causing this. My video card makes noises like that when frame rates go above my screen refresh rate, I have to make sure its capped with v-sync to stop it.

It worked in FO3 but its been broken since day one in FNV sadly. :(

Blender Unweighted Vertices
nivea replied to Niborino9409's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Firstly, this is for Fallout New Vegas NOT Oblivion they do not use the same exact scripts. Second, this thread is over a year old do not post in old threads please make your own. -
Thanks so much for doing this, I always wanted to myself but then I get so damn busy all the time so I am VERY excited. :D

You can find the script extender you need? http://nvse.silverlock.org/ Is NVSE compatible with the "FNV4GB" loader that enables the large-address-aware (aka 4GB) flag? -
Simple Dog Companion named Roadkill
nivea replied to Sodapop179's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Ideas
I never used the mod before so I did not know it contained the dogs name, I avoided putting any names in the dialog in my mod so I didnt think someone else would add names in theirs. ): -
Simple Dog Companion named Roadkill
nivea replied to Sodapop179's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Ideas
You could always open a already made dog mod in GECK and simply change the name to Roadkill, and then change the textures/meshes to whatever you want. My corgi companion mod would be a quick and easy to change I even give instructions on how to do so plus its fully voiced and has trade/wait/home markers or you could use the new pitbull mod and change its model around lots of options. dress up dolls and hello kitty?
nivea replied to sundog005's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Usually don't have to assume. Don't conflate technical prowess with artistry or creative vision, other things that you want to associate with quality. Ultimately it comes down to opinion, but we'd be wrong to think that pretty graphics = quality content. A game like New Vegas appeals to a different audience than this (obv - it's downright ugly in some areas). Honestly it sounds like your insulting the mods by saying "Usually don't have to assume." which to me means, you dont have to assume because they ARE lower quality. The wording is either odd or poorly chosen which is why I think Ginny was thinking your meaning was a jab at the non lore mods.
