  1. I notice that the chat is gone. will it make a comeback?
  2. that's incorrect "Id Software" is owned by Zenimax, not Bethesda though I agree a Beth title using an Idtech engine could rock.
  3. Does anyone know what mod this outfit/armor is from? http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/images/11380-1-1267099757.jpg I found the pic @ http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11380
  4. yeah I read that but with steam involved does that mean we lose the ability to choose which version we want to use? like if one patch really messes up New Vegas will I be able to rollback to a pre-borked patch?
  5. So there is hope they will get my money after all. yay
  6. Drat, I guess I won't be getting this game then, I so hoping this wouldn't have a forced online component
  7. Sounds like GECK wasn't installed to the same location as the game.
  8. on the window for the npc the "traits" tab allows you change height (weight variable is broken & doesn't work) And changing race among other things the "Face" tab allows for very basic face modding & changing hair color the "Face advanced" allows for indepth modding of facial features & coloring the "head Parts" tab allows for changing of hair styles & eyes (for color) Hope that helps BTW: welcome to the nexus Thanks alot man it helped, just one thing, i want to have the NPC to use the hair of another mod, can i select that mod from the data tab? yes especially if the hair mod is an .esm file

  10. I'm not totally sure but I think speed is tied in with agility
  11. that just means that FOMM doesn't know the mod.
  12. I never had the need to do a merchant but I do know npcs. & if they are set to 1 they are normal size. Did you use the "F" key when you put the npc in the render window (drop them to the floor) if you still have the npc selected)?
  13. those actually indicate missing meshes so is it the same objects that show up as those or is it random you might need to cut-down or merge some mods.
  14. It does get annoying, I love to be able to play Fallout 3 with some of those modern day weapons as long as it still feels like Fallout 3. I love Project Beauty it has done a great job at doing what Bethesda, also worth mentioning is RTS and WMK, it makes it feel much Post Apocalyptier and adds allot to the game. But then you see these Final Fantasy swords and stuff and you can't help but stare and say, 'But they wouldn't have them in Post Apocalyptia!!!' But I find it sort of okay in Oblivion since there's magic and people have half the ability to look like it's not post apocalyptia, but how would a woman straighten out her hair like that in those times? Seriously... /rant (I'm such a child  ) (also Evil D, I gave you kudo's since your a very cool guy, know what you're talking about and know how the Wasteland should be.) that's the beauty of mods. I can have anime based girls as companions (Shojo) in my FO3 & it doesn't ruin your game, not everyone has the same vision of "Post Apocalyptia"
  15. One thing I did notice about the New Vegas trailer was that at the end it was listed as a "Games for Windows" title so I'm hopeful that IF I decided to legally dl a DLC (assuming DLC are even made) I wont go through a virtual version of "You must be this tall to ride." ie "lol he dials-up & he wants this Download." but either way I think I'll use the same strategy as with Fo3. Buy the collector's edition then wait & see if a GOTY or a complete DLC collection is released in a year's time.
  16. Current thread (#16) is at http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1085562-wipzbeta-darnified-ui-f3/
  17. to me 3D will only be viable when it can be done without the need for wearing glasses but I haven't seen evidence that is possible just yet.
  18. nope, they want your soul er.. MS points I have heard that if you go through their Zune pages you can get the correct amount without losing any points to them. I haven't tried it myself though since I wont use ms points
  19. last I heard no - bethesda wants to force you to buy again to get Zeta Fonger is correct, Live & GOTY are the legit methods to get Zeta
  20. I too am a believer in not having "Superkids" in my Fallout3 that just is wrong to me. Can you install >FOMM< ? & if so did you try the "Toggle invalidation" button? EDited because my post was messed up
