F2P with Microtransactions

I think that depending on the game, you can have a business plan that fits. Just like marharth said, every model mentioned could work, depending on the situation.

Not at all. It's actually the other way around. You can buy the disk, but you need Steam to play them. Those are the only two I can remember working like that. There might be more.

just an observation : M&B Warband is 20E on Steam, 20$ on TalesWorld site. Not always is Steam cheaper.
Nobody said it was ALWAYS cheaper at Steam. It is usually the case when they have mid-week or weekend sales, when the price drops down considerably. That's how I buy my games, actually, by waiting for good bargains. I prefer Steam because I have all of my games in one place, without taking up physical space. That, and the fact that I can install any of them with only a few clicks, and booting them up easilly too. Opinions may vary, so it's down to personal preference. If you don't mind not having the disk (with exceptions such as Skyrim and New Vegas and have a good internet connection, I'd say go for Steam :)

I started playing New Vegas again a few days ago, and I've been experiencing this really annoying bug that messes up with faction relationships. Or maybe just NPCs in the wrong factions... Killing Powder Gangers in front of NCR soldiers makes the NCR hostile towards me. Same happened with Legion folks, and as I tried to attack them, the caravan guards passing by at that time went hostile.

yeah like i said its about cheating, if you can just use stuff like cheat engine and give yourself 999999999 gold then the AH becomes worthless
I highly doubt that'd happen. Given that the game needs a constant connection to the servers, would be logical that they would have some sort of way to know if the game is being tampered with, thus banning your account.

It's an abuse, nonetheless. There's a tagging system for a reason. And to be honest, it's not like we're being forced to use it.

No, no way. Atom only supports 4GB total, you can't have 2x4.

In this case, without dual channel, should I get 1x4GB or 2x2GB? Not sure which one would perform best.

You can't really replace the hard drive anyway so no ssd
If it has two sticks of 1gb just replace one of them with a 2gb stick this will give you 3gb, or are you going to miss that .25gb?
Erik... The 64-bit version of Windows can allocate more than 3.75GB... The harddrive CAN be replaced, but I'd have to open the chassis.

Why do you you want to upgrade the memory?
I usually do a lot of multi-tasking. More memory would help.
Are you using memory heavy programs? Have you checked how much ram you use.Same answer as above.
Netbooks are slow you can't really do anything about that.It's not really that slow. When using the 32bit version of Windows, as it doesn't use up as much memory as the 64, it runs fine.
Maybe a ssd is a more sensible upgrade.Too expensive and not that much space. I can't afford that hardware right now.
And a fresh windows install also does wonders. just get a home premium CD and use the code on the bottom of the laptopI format both my PCs at least twice a year. I also have copies of both 32 and 64bit versions. Professional edition only, as I get them from MSDNAA.I'm just waiting to make this upgrade so that I format my netbook's HDD again.

On top of that, I see no evidence yet that it is a First-Person RPG.Nobody said it would be a First-Person RPG.
The cartoon style isn't a plus, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt because it's likely a decision made for ideal performance and appealing visuals at the same time.Maybe it was just a decision made by the art direction team. This is not the typical RPG you've been used to regarding the TES games. It's just an MMO aproach on the TES lore.

I saw some conflicting information looking this up. The ASUS site says only 1x slot on the 1215N but this video (Upgrade memory on Asus 1018P and Asus 1215N) shows 2x.
Yep, two slots. And 1GB in each of them, in my case :ohdear:

I really looks interesting. And that cockpit viewpoint, awesome. I had heard about Infinity before. Proceduraly generated galaxies and planets. Seamless planet landing and everything.

As the topic title says, every now and then the game freezes when loading. Be it either interior cells, or exterior. (When traveling from one to the other)

They developed a game engine used for military training. Hopefully Arma 3 will have even more realistic features :)

I like to play this too on PC but I'm feeling that Capcom will screw with us PC players somehow.
You wouldn't have to worry about it coming to the PC. Seems to me people aren't being vocal enough :blush:
