Cops actually shoot more white folks (2 to 1 ratio....) than black. Blacks committed 52% of murders from 1980, to 2008, yet they represent only 13% of the population. Now, does it come as any surprise that they represent a significant percentage of those killed by cops? "Death by cop" accounts for about 1% of blacks killed by someone else. (regardless of circumstances) 97% of them are killed by other blacks. (not cops.) the remaining 2% fall into the "Other" category. If BLM states (as their name implies) Black Lives Matter, then why are they NOT talking to the folks that account for the VAST MAJORITY of deaths? Other Blacks. This is just another brand of racism perpetrated by non-whites. What about WHITE on WHITE violence? They kill each other for any reason, because they are wearing the wrong color, or are in the wrong neighborhood, or in revenge for some perceived wrong. English has been the de facto language of the US since it's inception, we have required speakers of all other ethnic language groups to learn it as part of the assimilation process not the other way around. Wrong. I believe you're thinking of your people. Whites don't have the "hood" and "gang" mentality you often find in the black community. More often than not, the police officer will use appropriate force depending on the situation. If a police officer shoots a white man, he probably had good reason to. If a police officer shoot a black man, he probably had good reason to. As far as PCness goes, it's not about calling a short person short or a tall person tall. We know that different ethnicities tend toward different genetic characteristics. This is true as far down as you can break down the genetic chain. Two families from the same ethnic group can have traits which characterize them, one family short and fat, the other family tall and thin etc etc. But we are still all one race. The importance of PCness is that you don't need to remind the short person they are short. You do not need to disparage shortness or make jokes at their expense. If a short person wants to make jokes about themselves, that it ok and it's ok for you to laugh at the jokes. But it is not ok for someone who is not short to single them out and make jokes at their expense. It's common sense. If we are talking about a disenfranchised ethnicity such as African Americans, I should allow them to make cultural observations/jokes about themselves. They do not need an outsider to do it, nor is that respectful because there is a history of that being systematically used against them on a national level. This same common sense is how I have lived in multicultural cities like Detroit and Los Angeles most of my life and had no problems with other ethnicities. It's simple mutual respect.

Every single time I traveled through France and Germany, I would be speaking the native language when the locals would hear my accent and begin speaking to me in English, because they were well educated. The United States is one of the few 1st world countries where international communication is not prioritized. Unsanitary conditions can easily lead to cholera which can kill hundreds and thousands. Mcclaude is pretty right, it would be closer to the days of the Wild West or medieval times (with more technology) than Mad Max.

Wwindows Movie Maker generally breaks all the time for me. I finally gave up on it for editing videos. Try out Hitfilm 4 Express. It's free and much better.

Could the OP please describe the problem with Steam? For example, years ago I could not connect to steam because my only internet connection (I lived in a rural area) blocked the port necisary to connect. I had to take my entire gaming PC to a friends house in another town, connect to the internet, activate my games, then take my PC back home. Then, for an entire year I had to play all of my Steam games "offline". So there can be Steam problems which are not the users fault. My suggestion to the OP is to try starting Steam on a different internet connection, possibly at a friends house. Also try running Steam offline. Failing that, reinstalling your OS and then installing Steam is a reasonable solution. Those are your options. There is no way to run your game "without" Steam that does not break the terms of this website.
