  1. No, not this vid again ;-; I got friends who watched it aaalllll the time and quoted it always. It hurts just to think about it. I haaaate the new quote system so much. Edit to Random Thought: We gotta do it all over again. All over again A-A-All over again.
  2. I dunno Vagrant0. I see your point and agree with it to a degree. HOwever, a lot of gamers have come to expect games to stay at the cost of $60, even though the costs of development has really gone up since that established pricing became the base. It used to be fairly cheap to make a game. I can even remember games for the same $60 for Super Nintendo when they came out! And yet, games are still expected to remain at the same cost when in reality they should cost a lot more compared to today's luxury economy and the costly technology for them. If gamers want costs to stay stagnant, then they should expect the technology for them to equally stay stagnant.
  3. Random Thought: Make sure your foundation is solid.
  4. I'm looking for any mod that adds new monsters to the game, except for MMM. I've already got that one. Also, I'm looking especially for anything that's not on the Nexus as well. I appreciate any help you can provide in my searches.

  8. It is still not allowed. The ban was part of an agreement with Beth, so until they allow it, it will continue be banned regardless if the situation for its banning is relevant anymore.
  9. My opinion of MWT is just don't bother. MWO is worth a go though... well if you are a fan of the franchise anyway. Oooh, I didn't know about MWT. IS that out now? It's in closed beta. They hand out keys all the time, you need to sign up to get one. It's PvP 8v8 death match. They are going to expand to 12v12 in 2-3 months, but the 4 maps they have now I think will only support the 8v8. The next maps they produce will support the 12v12. There will be no PvE in MWO. At least not for the next year or more... Oh, that's is very disappointing. When I had first heard about MWO, I was very excited and looking forward to doing both PvE or P, but not strictly one. Well I guess that removes MWO for me then :(
  10. My opinion of MWT is just don't bother. MWO is worth a go though... well if you are a fan of the franchise anyway. Oooh, I didn't know about MWT. IS that out now? I'm definately a big fan. Does the MWO have PVE features or is it strictly arena PVP?
  11. Well, I guess there's always Mechwarrior Online. It's in open beta now I think. I've heard a lot of negative things about it though. Like when you shoot another mech the projectiles miss half the time, whether they be energy, missile, or bullet, even if you have a perfectly aimed target reticle. However, I suspect that may be a feature in the game. Perhaps you need to develop skills for better mech accuracy.
  12. I think it stinks for people that don't own a non-playstation3 owner. I think that's considered slavery. opps, yeah. that's a typo. :P Should be stinks for people that don't own a playstation3. LOL. Coffee hasn't kicked in apparently.
  13. That's a good point, but still, I think it stinks for people that don't own a non-playstation3 owner. I'd personally like to play both, but can't.
  14. Does anyone else find it odd that the new Dust514 game that interacts with the EVE universe is only available as a Playstation3 game?
  15. May revisit this once there's a price drop... At the moment spending $80 on a game I'm not familiar with is not exactly high on my list of priorities. Given the dwindling community, I'm surprised there hasn't already been one. I doubt there's going to be price drop Vagrant. It maybe years down the road and after a couple expansions. But trust me, this game is probably like no other MMO you've played before. The game is truly unique. As for a "dying" community. It's more like a settling community. The hype of the game is gone and now the population is plateu'ing. I've not seen much of a drop in population in the last few months. In fact, I've actually seen an increase in new players for some reason. There are still 5-6 servers that are full, the rest set at high, and maybe a few others at medium. This is however on the North American side. Not sure about the European side. @everyone else with concerns about group participation, I'd suggest finding a Role Playing server, even if you don't RP. There's always lots of grouping done there and the communities there are almost always the friendliest I've ever met. I'm on the Tarnished Coast server on the NA side and I'm constantly seeing guild participation and grouping. It's the RP server there, but if you are interested in transfering there, I'd suggest waiting until late in the morning (EST) before trying since it's nearly always full. I'm a little confused by this statement. WvWvW is real world PVP. I'm not sure how you think it's not. And although it's technically not "factions" per say, the way WvWvW works is very similar to faction based pvp, except the factions are Servers. So instead of Faction vs Faction vs Faction, it's Server vs Server vs Server, but the mechanic is very much the same.
  16. Was Dishonor not a good one for you? Dishonored is good. It's great, in fact. As others have said, however, it's not cyberpunk. Yeah, I got my genres mixed up there.
  17. I believe you can also press a key to force the change. Default B, maybe?
  18. http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/35118 is probably going to be your best bet. There is an option to force change in the settings.
  19. Confirmed. That's interesting. I wonder when that happened. Honestly though, I'm not surprised, mod authors have been taking down their mods for the last few years now. Luckily, I download and keep a copy of every mod I've ever tried and want to try.
  20. Was Dishonor not a good one for you? as far as i know (since i havent played it) Dishonored isnt Cyberpunk. it looked more Steampunky if anything, but deff not Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk is more along the lines of Deus Ex or something. there arent many Cyberpunk games out there its a rarely explored "punk", so its hard to compare it to current games. Whoops! You're right. I always get the two genre confused.
  21. On default difficulty, you just respawn on the same map with temporarily reduced hull and crew (that regenerates from waiting a short while or traveling back to where you were). On the harder difficulties you get long-term system debuffs that remain until you get your ship repaired at a starbase or by using components. Meaning that the death mechanic is extremely forgiving from the standpoint of not losing very much. Dying too frequently however can lead to being unable to complete missions, especially large scale battles where you have to destroy things quickly or protect some other ship. In short, nothing like EVE. Sounds interesting. I'll have to give it a try sometime.
  22. As far as I know, STO has never allowed more than 1 person to control a ship. I think you're thinking of some other game which didn't last very long due to the logistical problems of getting 5 competent people together at the same time who wanted to have anything to do with eachother. For some reason, I thought that was the plan. To have a crew. Oh well. You mentioned ship combat, is it similar to EVE Online? What happens if you get blown to pieces?
