  1. What was different about it? I didn't know there was an extension either. Well, I think there was some retextures, but that's it. These user-uploaded screenshots speak for themselves. I can't be at all certain, but something tells me that these re-textured versions do not appear in the original "Drake Knight" mod (and the second screenshot is clearly marked as such). Even if they were just a bunch of re-textures, I'd still like to be able to use both mods. Hmm, that's interesting. I knew there was a retextured release some time ago, but didn't know it had all those other dark colors. I'm surprised it was taken down.
  2. Luckily most of us no longer play games on calculators, so the 50 - 100mb RAM it uses doesn't bother us. Why should I be bothered about the paltry resources Origin uses when my PC has 7.9GB more RAM to make use of? Rofl, nice that was aimed at me when half the other posters here don't like it either. Read the other posts for an answer to your question smart ass.
  3. Isn't Origin an Online Always DRM anyways? If that is true, that's basically using your computer's resources, thus potentially taking away said resources from what you're doing, all the time when you go online. That means when you're playing LoL, Starcraft2, or GW2, Origin is on. It's essentially malware that's using your computer without you even knowing it.
  4. This is one of the reasons I don't install EA games on my computer. I'd love to at least try the Mass Effect and DA series, but I'm not skilled enough on how to remove Origin if I did.
  5. Ooh, yeah, I forgot about that one. That was a pretty neat one. I just recently bought 2, but haven't loaded it up yet. Been too busy with GW2 and SC2.

  7. Hmm, for some reason I thought it was a FPS. I'll be keeping track of it anyways. See how things go.
  8. I saw that too and thought it was a gimmick at first. Very interesting concept though. I probably won't play the game though. FPS's are not something I normally play, though I do have a few on my iPad. :S
  9. Good, maybe some better SW games and decisions will come out now! LA deserves it for shutting down SWG. /emote: spits at the execs that made that decision. Good riddance is what I say.
  10. Oh I know you can still play offline. It just bothers me that the game disk doesn't contain the game.... so to speak. What do the achievements get you anyways? Other than bragging rights. Did you ever play the first SC? I probably spent a thousand hours on that game. There was this one map everyone used that was a perfect setup for a base, with one entrance to it. It had the max number of players allowed in each corner, top, bottom, and sides. It was a big map with all the resources you need up against the back of the base area so it left plenty of room for your buildings. Can't remember the name of it though. I was just thinking about a couple of my favorite things to do with that particular map: 1. Protoss: Get a fleet of Carriers, a couple Arbitrators (the ship that turns everyone invisible), and a couple Observers. It was fun to watch the swarm of bees! 2. Terran: Build the base defense by closing off the entrance with supply depots, bunkers behind it, and then a squad of tanks, in siege mode behind those. Add in a couple turrets for seeing invisibles. Then build a couple extra command centers with the nukes and send out the ghosts. Ahhhh goood times, good times. On SC2:WoL, is terrans the only campaign you run?
  11. Well I broke down and bought it. I'm glad I did. It's a really fun RTS game. One thing that really bothers me though is that the game material is nearly all online, even when you play the single player campaign. On the WoW thing, I think they should make the game content, including expansions, completely free since you already have to pay a monthly sub. fee. I wouldn't mind trying the game, but I'm not about to shell out $100 and then turn around and give out more monthly. @hoof, did you get the Thor skin too? And yeah, that Ultralisk skin is pretty hot! I think I'm going to get the full expansion just for it.
  12. Okay, I'd check into your mod compatibility then. Sounds like there's an issue there. Also, have you cleaned the mods you have with TES4Edit? Finally, I'm one of those who prescribe to be leary of use of WECPS. There have been cases of it causing problems with other users, including irrepairable damage to their save game files.
  13. Bah, I'm dying to play it. I might have to break down and get the thing. Can't afford the $80 for both though. :(
  14. It's been what, 3 years since Starcraft2 was released and with the new expansion out, I figured the price would come way down, but it still sits at $40! Any speculations on if this price is going to come down?
  15. ALso if you do use the CS, you may have to expand the section of the window where the formid is at. I think by default, its "hidden" by being pushed together against another section of the window.
  16. I thought Oblivion uses papyrus... Nope, uses a whole different scripting system.
  17. Actually i mentioned Sacred 2  Opps sorry hoof! I missed that I guess. ;D
  18. Never played Ultima. Can you be more specific?
  19. Out of curiosity, what's wrong with Ego Draconis? It's badly unbalanced and the ending was terrible, Dragon Knight Saga fixed all that. Ahh okay. Yeah, it was terribalanced. Haven't beaten yet though. A different game came out aroudn the same time I had played it and distracted me. Hadn't played it since. I had just gotten to become a dragon if I remember correctly. In the Dragon Knight Saga, do you still become a dragon? That's why I liked Ego Draconis so much. @Sirxon, yeah, those really arne't ARPGs, they're just action. Those other games were already mentioned btw, except Sacred 1/2.
  20. Out of curiosity, what's wrong with Ego Draconis?
  21. Crashing is typically related to mods as in a conflict between them. It's also quite possible you're reaching the 2gb ram limit cap that's on the vanilla settings. There is a way to get up to 4gb instead if you have a 64bit OS. If you only have 32bit, you're stuck at the 2gb limit. Upgrading to a more powerful CPU will certainly help your bottlenecking because the game engine is limited to using only one core, despite having a duo or quad. Therefore you're only getting to use a 3.3ghz SINGLE core for your game. You might also want to try reducing the background programs that may be running and taking up additional resources that won't be available for Oblivion. Also, look into getting Oblivion Stutter Remover and adjusting the settings to your system specs.
  22. Random Thought: Me thinks this thread is gonna get me fired one day....
  23. Random Thought: There's nothing quite like finishing a report seconds before it's to be presented to put your nerves on end.
  24. Was it this one? http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/7808
