Skyrim keeps disabling my mods?

In vortex the mods are enabled but when I go into skyrim they dont work and when I go to the mods list they arent check marked as enabled despite being so in vortex. If I go in in skyrim and activate them then skyrim deactivates skyUI, Racemenu, a skin mod I have, and 2 tattoo mods. The mods I am trying to enable are blue fire magic (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/452) and EFF (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7003). I have made sure I am using the Skyrim special edition of both.

Edit: I downloaded an older version of both mods and they work fine now. Guess vortex didnt like the newest versions for some reason

This only happens when you open the Bethesda.net load order manager. SkyUI specifically is disabled as it doesn't have Skyrim.esm as a master if I recall.ÃÂ

Ok but that still doesn't solve how 2 of the mods were deactivated in skyrim but enable in vortex BEFORE I ever opened the bethesda.net load order manager.

Make sure you DEPLOY the ods once you've Installed and Enabled them.

Also check the PLUGINS tab IN VORTEX and make sure they're enabled

Vortex doesn't magically disable mods without your action, so if you're not doing it in Vortex then something else on your PC is.

A good way to work it out is, once the plugins are disabled open the plugins.txt at \AppData\Local\Skyrim Special Edition - many apps will add a comment to the top line to let you know they edited the file last. If there isn't a comment, it was done by the game itself and/or the Bethesda.net section of the game.

I too started having this problem. I use vortex. I downloaded a bunch of lite follower mods and all of a sudden all my plug-ins are permanently disabled every time I load the game. I have to enable them in Bethesda.net every time I start the game. It's rather annoying. I've tried disabling an re-enabling all the plug-ins on vortex and it doesn't do anything. Skyrim simply won't load the mods and I have to enable them in Bethesda.net every time on start up. I think I read something about this being a safety feature if the game engine crashes? But I don't know the work around.

Aside from using then in-game mod manager with Voretx, this is also a known issue with SSE Engine Fixes, if using the wrong version.
