Meldrey
Mod dependencies mean that mods have to have their best programming on, so other mods can be stable. However, 100% of mods on this website have a dependency on the worst mod ever made: The most broken mod is Vortex itself. There are mods that improve UI, mods that make things simpler, mods that make things easier, mods that remove plants, mods that add dust, mods that change subtle things just because it makes it slightly more awesome. Then there's this clunky brainbot alpha version of a mod/app called "Vortex." It's a sadly un-innovative paywall of slowness and confusion. It's basically a funless mini-game in front of your game, that unlocks with a credit card. Frustratio says, "But once you get it set up, it's ok." Many people allow them to collect stats for improvement. But where are these stats making improvements for the users? There are lots of great ways to make money. But bandwidth taxing, frustratingly un-fun UI riddled with developer vs upper management arguments, resulting in a semi-successful product is the lazy CEO's way to operate. Slave driver. Remember that people come to this site to fix their awesome games, not that they come to Vortex because Vortex is being awesome. Be awesome. Fix that god damned Vortex abomination. You should be ashamed.
HeyYou
Ya know, instead of just bitching about it, maybe tell folks exactly WHAT bugs you are encountering...... There are a LOT of folks using Vortex, without a problem.......

Solution AugustaCalidia Posted April 17, 2022 Solution Share Posted April 17, 2022 1. Vortex is not a mod. It is a mod manager. 2. Vortex is free to anyone registered on Nexus Mods. It is not for premium members only. 3. Vortex graduated from its alpha stage four or five years ago. 4. OP misuses the term "mod dependency." 5. Etc. In sum, OP's post is an ignorant rant that provides no information that would allow forum members to help him.
