kallekukhuve Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 How do I remove swear word filter? So if someone writes f*#@ or s#*! it doesn't show up as "s***" or "f***".I asked in another forum thread and some stuck up twenty year olds got their "sensitivites" triggered. So please tell me how I fix that. I cannot find it in the settings.

showler Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 May I ask why?Because they are super grown up and good at adulting. Nice to be mistaken for a twenty something, though.
JimboUK Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Being able to communicate without using profanity is a basic social skill, sadly some people lack this skill which is why there is a filter, one that can't be disabled for obvious reasons.
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted September 1, 2022 Community Manager Posted September 1, 2022 From our Forum & Commenting Guidelines: No profanity. It is perfectly possible to express yourself using civil language. Do not attempt to circumvent the profanity filter. If there's some specific term that's causing some kind of issue we're happy to consider removing that specific filter, however if you just want to call someone a #@!#?& @%!#?\|# then there's just no need for it.
showler Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Also, I believe the filter alters the word as it's being posted, not as you're reading it. So, even if there was something you could turn off, it wouldn't matter. The original word just isn't there.
