Can no longer launch script extenders within Vortex

For both Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, I click on the respective script extender button like I've always done, but nothing happens. I see a little notification "running", but that's it. The game never starts. This is with both 1.7.1 and 1.7.2 Skyrim works fine. I re-downloaded both files and reinstalled them, made sure they were set up correctly, still no dice. Was working fine before. If I run the scrip extender .exe file from within the game folder, it starts fine. I used the link within Vortex to report the problem a few days ago, but haven't heard anything. Wondering of anyone else has encountered this issue.

Your dashboard tool for the Script Extender is probably broken. Find it under "Tools" on the Dashboard and check all the paths are correct.

I haven't changed anything in the tool, but just to be sure, I deleted it and reinstalled it. Still won't work.

I've done that. I've also removed the script extender and reinstalled it. Still doesn't work trying to launch it from Vortex. I guess I'll just keep using the shortcut I created on my desktop.

Random thought, make sure you have the latest version of the Cyberpunk extension (if you have it) as this caused problems launching EXEs a few versions ago.

I have Cyberpunk and installed the extension for it, but still can't launch script extender from Vortex. It's only Fallout 3 & 4 that's affected. New Vegas and Skyrim work fine.

Did you set them to PRIMARY in the Dashboard?

Yes, already set to primary. Then unset, and set again to primary. Sent a bug report through Vortex about a week ago, but never heard anything.
