showler Posted July 18, 2023 Share Posted July 18, 2023 First, there's a difference between people switching to Vortex and people being told to never even try Vortex when they are new to modding. Second, Vortex can do anything MO2 can do and some things it can't. And you brought up "a clean game folder" earlier apparently unaware that pushing the "purge" button in Vortex provides exactly the same result as shutting down MO2. Everything Vortex placed is removed. But mostly, the thread is about people complaining about Vortex without knowledge, NOT about people having a preference after trying both. In one of those posts you basically admitted you didn't care that you were derailing the thread and that the topic was 'stupid'. This is troll behaviour. You posts did not contain constructive ideas or criticism and they added nothing of value to the discussion. Nobody cares that you use MO nor your reasons for using it. If you want to support an open-minded community, then that starts with you listening to other members of the community and moderators when they are telling you in no uncertain terms to cease and desist from your bizarre, unwanted contributions. There was no reason to derail this post with such comments, just let people enjoy things. The entire interaction here reminds me a little of the "Quit having fun" meme.
