Right, sorry for the miscommunication, I do mean the main site homepage. That'll be served by the new framework soon and there won't be a web component required.

Ah, ok.
That's better at least.

I'll just make some css then for myself to target how it is on the game's popout so then it'll work on the rest of the site when that part is done.

Would still like an option to disable those keyboard shortcuts though, like pressing / to open the search. I get why people like having them, but just not for me.

I'm not looking to diminish your opinion and it's not my call to make on all the issues raised, but there are responses from the dev team in this thread and other communication channels. We also ran hotjar polls both during and after the beta which captured responses from the wider userbase. Purely stated for fact, and not judgement on whether that is sufficient for you.

I check the site everyday for a long time and I never saw any mention of any polls. And why can't there be an option to revert, that way people who like the new can stick with it and those who prefer to old can revert to that.

Its quite obvious the dev's are just not listening, and just ignoring the people who did not like the new UI changes...

And just replying to other types messages that are unrelated to it... Not even giving people an option to give feedback and just deleting them and citing them as " Bad behavior or Rule breaking ".
Where they either have the capabilities to just shut anyone down, Or at least do good by giving people an option.

And with the simple minded thought that 40% of the user base is more then 60% of it?

Its obvious some change needs to happen soon ( If even possible ). If not the Devs will just ignore our " Feedback " or just try reply in a copy and paste bot manner, and just move on.

If not, the devs have lost their way.

They keep saying that they ran polls and such but I promise you they only ran polls for folks who frequent the forums. I've been browsing mods for years and never once saw a single poll or feedback for this kinda s#*!. A lot of folks don't touch the forums, and a lot of them remain on their game pages. They polled a small amount of folks who live in the forums while a lot of folks who just come here for mods are now gonna have to deal with this ugly ass UI.

They are reading this, and reddit, and discord, and polls feedback. There have been replies from various staff on all those channels. There will be continued comms on this I am quite sure.

No one at NexusMods has said 40% is more than 60%, that's nonsensical. 😃

Desktop is the focus, as that's where most of the usage comes from. Mobile users account for 40% of the site usage, and so they are also accounted for.

from what I am seeing, it is almost universally negative........ How does that work?

Sure, I can help with that. This forum is only one of the channels of communication on which we have received feedback. The overall reception is judged from all of the channels of communication.

Well, considering this is the forum for the site in question, and the folks that actually use the site are quite likely to be here, rather than elsewhere....... Isn't the 'consensus' here more likely to reflect the actual sentiments of the site users???

You must know something I don't! 🤣

In reality the hotjar powered polls which ran during and after the beta were available to all site users. However once the quota is used up then the poll is no longer available. This of course means only limited conclusions can be drawn from the results, and we are not blind to that.
