showler Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Just saw a user being helped to diagnose a crash and it turned out the mod causing it had been hidden a while back due to this issue. But they didn't know because they didn't go back and check all their mods on a regular basis. Perhaps the "Check for updates" feature could also be used to warn about this?
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted June 15 Community Manager Posted June 15 It might be better to let users mark specific mod files as "broken" rather than the entire page being marked that way?
showler Posted June 15 Author Posted June 15 True. Whatever can alert a user to a problem they may be unaware of.

Expand Disagree. Because (and I have seen it over and over), users whine about a mod being "broken" when when in reality, it is use error. 1

Since they are the ones who hide the files in the vast majority of cases. If I'm wrong then I agree with you that allowing mod users to mark things in that way is a bad idea.
