MatharAndas
I appreciate what Bethesda is doing here and it actually makes quite a bit of sense because the new Survival mode is being given to us post-release. That being said I will be opting out of this beta on my PC copy of the game. Not for the sake of whining/malice/protest/sense of entitlement/ect. But merely because I don't want to have any mess to cleanup with my files. I spent enough time carefully picking and installing them that I don't want a monkey wrench being tossed into the equation when I'm ready to play again. I will patiently wait for the official release of this patch before I resume playing, and I would like to thank anyone and everyone here that does actually go through the hoops to give Bethesda informed playtesting and feedback on this beta. If there was only a way for me to opt into it with my Xbox1 copy of the game, I would gladly join you in doing so.

For all that I'm frustrated about the lack of warning about the disabling of mods with the update, it's only a matter of waiting until it's fixed and as Bethesda are giving us this optional extra for free its seems churlish to complain about it. Deleted7103646User
Decided to try it anyway despite my initial thought that i don't want to give up my mods.Seems that texturemods still work ok. SPECIAL has become SPECIA, luck is gone from the pipboy, either a bug or you're just unlucky if you decide to play at Survival.Perk to remove rads from food doesn't work, wild plants and veggies say zero rads, but if you eat it you still get irradiated. And i must say that you constantly have to drink and eat, i mean like every 2 gamehours 3 bottles of purified water and 2 molerat chunks, if i would do that in real life i would become obese fast or die from too much water, even if would walk around with 100 pounds strapped to my back. ValdrFireBorn
I only played this for about 3-4 hours before I couldn't stand how bad it was compared to FNV's hardcore mode. Bethesda mucked this one up big time. The worst part is how frequently you must feed/water your player. It's unrealistic in any scenario. If only I could play on normal with hardcore mode on, but too bad Bethesda just kind of does whatever the hell they feel like doing. This is seriously more enraging than paid mods in my opinion, how bad they've done and how far from previous installments this entire game has gone...I keep hoping that next DLC or update will make up for the lack of Fallout-ness in a Fallout game. Looks like I'm disappointed again, along with 80% of everyone in the forums
