Does anyone else have problems with the text boxes on the site? I can't paste anything into them, or format anything, or embed anything. It happens on Nexus Mods too, I can't link a video to my mod's description... I know it's not my browser because I installed a new one and it still didn't work. Is this a common issue?

They're working for me (at least on the forums and in comment threads; I haven't edited any file or image pages in a while). However, I prefer to type the BBCode manually myself (I feel like I have better control that way), so I keep the editors in plain-text mode* most of the time.

Just which parts of the site are affected -- forums, file/image pages, comments? (Sounds like forum posts and file page edits, but I'd like to clarify this.) Can you still paste text into text boxes on other sites?

If you're typing any BBCode manually, have you checked that you're using the correct codes for the forums and file/image pages?

It's the forums, comments and file pages that don't work for me. I haven't been using the BB code, because I'm not sure how to.

I tried pasting something into a new forum topic on a different computer, and it worked then, but the file page stuff didn't work on the other computer. I think that it may be something on my end.

Edit: I play the video you posted, no problem.

These functions don't seem to work with the IP. Board software used here and on the Bethesda sites when using Internet Explorer. Try switching to Firefox or Chrome as your browser.

@Rabbit I did. I installed Firefox to try and see if IE was just being pissy again, and it didn't work. I tried Chrome too, still nothing.

Rats!! Sorry, that worked for me. There must be some other gremlins at work here.

  • 2 weeks later...

So I just managed to download SKSE and have been able to get it to work by using the skse_loader. However, I have mods downloaded and activated on the NMM and these mods won't work unless I open skyrim through the NMM. But if I open skyrim through the NMM then the mods I have on the NMM work but SKSE doesn't. Sorry if that doesn't make sense but I'm not sure what to do. Any feed back would be great!

Thanks!

It doesn't make sense mostly because if SKSE is installed NMM should launch it - not directly launch Skyrim. Might want to check your launch settings in NMM and see if you can fix it.

When I disable AdBlock Plus (Firefox) on the Fallout New Vegas Nexus site I get a lot of lag. When I enable AdBlock the lag and slowness goes away and everything runs smoother. Am I the only one with this problem? I would like to be able to support the site by disabling my ad blocker, but it causes unbearable lag.
