One of my characters doesn't go to Riften anymore. I had recently gone to Riften to give Balimund the fire salts he needed to keep his forge going. He was, of course, incredibly thankful.

A couple of days later I returned to Riften to claim a bounty on a dragon. As soon as I got there the guards ran inside and I had no idea why. I followed them in when a dragon attacked. I fought with my Dragon Priests and Ilia and watched in horror as one by one, people died around me. The first to go was Shadr who was immediately resurrected by one of my Dragon Priests.

A few minutes of fighting and I finally brought the dragon down. Everyone was praising me but I went around to survey the casualties. There, I saw Balimund, dead in front of his forge. I had finally restored it to it's former glory and now he wouldn't even be able to use it. After that, I decided that I would never return to Riften so that no-one else would have to suffer the fate that the many people who died that day did.

One of the stranger and more amusing things that ever happened to me took place north of Whiterun. It was my first playthrough and I'd just obtained the third word of Unrelenting Force. As I wandered about on foot, alone as I'd left Lydia at home to watch the house awhile, I was randomly blasting anything I happened across with the Shout. Bones were sent flying, a helpless goat launched through the air, for unknown reasons there was an iron dagger on the ground that I actually managed to fling into a wolf.

Then, just as I was unleashing another Fus Roh Dah, a man darted out from the side of the screen. I had no idea where he had come from and expecting a bandit, entirely on reflex jerked my gaze towards him. Forgetting for an instant that I'd already started my shout. Well, sure enough, the poor fellow was hit by it at almost point blank range and hurled clear down the road. He bounced a few times, but I could hear him making unhappy noises, so I prepared a healing spell and started towards him, prepared to render aid by way of apology.

I had barely taken a step however when out of nowhere, without so much as a wing beat or a roar or a warning note of music, a blood dragon thumped to the ground behind the fellow. The man had just enough time to shout something before the dragon lunged forward, snapped him up in it's jaws, shook him around like a chew toy, then flung him off to parts unknown. The dragon then instantly flapped it's way back up into the air and sailed off towards the horizon, not giving me so much as a second glance.

I looked, but I never could find that mans body. I still have no idea who he was.

Ha, I was defending Whiterun from the Stormcloaks during the Civil War questline, and the first thing I did was call Odahviing. I could hear him and occasionally caught glimpses of him torching Stormcloaks now and then, and he remained airborne for the majority of the fight. Toward the end of the battle, they had managed to push through the drawbridge and we were defending the main gate. I saw a large group of Stormcloaks round the corner, and as they were halfway across the bridge, THWUMP! Odahviing lands right behind me and they all stopped dead, then hastened to ready their bows. I can only imagine their horrified looks beneath their helmets when that happened.

Ok, so you know how everyone kills the chicken in Riverwood and gets killed almost immediately? Well, I decided to kill the chicken, but no one actually cared! The only reprecussion was my bounty going up by 5 gold. Then a guard came and said "Wait...I know you". I pressed tab to back out, then he took out his bow and started firing at a tree, calling it a theif.

Maybe that chicken was more important than we know.

At some point when I was just roaming about, I climbed on top of some mountain and had a look around. It was really misty and there was heavy snowfall, you really couldnt see anything. And I thought, well I'm on top of a mountain I want to enjoy the view! So I go to the edge of the cliff and shout at the skies so that I can see Skyrim below me. As it goes, the clouds slowly withdrew, only to reveal a dragon literately 3m in front of me, flying straight at me... Don't think a game ever made me jump like that.

I actually proceeded then to call Odahviing and this turned into the most epic fight I ever witnessed in Skyrim - although I was barely involved. The two dragons were quite preoccupied with each other, but all the time cliff diving around me chasing each other tail on tail, frost vs fire... What a sight! :)

That chicken got me killed while I was testing a projectile storm spell that drops many ice bolts in a small radius. Somehow this 5 hp chicken managed to accidentally dodge all 200 bolts and emerge unharmed, misleading me into thinking the spell was bugged and didn't do damage. So I walked into range and died instantly. Then the chicken walked over to my dying body and shook its head.

Curse you, hellspawned poultry!

I was in Solitude and I talked to this sad little girl that a niece or something to the executed Roggvir. So she told me to leave me alone, and I picked the ''Okay, but if you don't want to hear about the dragon..'' option. Then, suddenly a dragon lands a few meters away from me!

Was trying to get into this fort outpost out by Whiterun, and they had themselves bottlenecked in seemed like everytime I would try to enter through the small gateway they would rush me and I would be a pin cushion in no time.. So after about 15 minutes of this I see off a lil ways a giant and his mammoth herd. And the idea hit me... lead him into that area and see what he could do. So I toss a arrow into him and start running like the wind for that fort entrance... as I get real close to the gate I tossed an invis pot and low and behold this giant just starts a swings that big ole stick at those poor helpless folks... funny watching a pile of folks go flying through the air when his club hit the ground.. laughed all the way back to whiterun
