So as i continue to use the new site layout, one thing still bothers me. "Add an Image" Why can we still only upload a single image. 2 things result in this.

1. We either have to go to a place like imgur, upload our pics there then embed them in the description

2. It causes people to flood the image section with 1 picture each over multiple posts because they are either to lazy to upload them and then embed them in the post, or do not have the knowledge to do so.

None of the feedback since october has been taken into account for the new design. Why is the new design still so funcionally inferior and inconvenient to the old design, when feedback has been given for the past three months? Is it just a sham to make it seem like we're being listened to as this awful and horrendous inferioredesign is shoved down our throats in the future?

Mobile first sucks. Bet no one plays Skyrim on the mobile device.

The new one is frustrating to look at and to use on a PC screen. But I suppose, in a couple of years this flat, ugly look will be out of fashion and user-friendliness will win out instead. Hey, one can hope, right? :ermm:

Bug report: URLs in the old format e.g. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31255 do not properly redirect to the new URL format: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31255 and instead shows a " The mod you were looking for couldn't be found" error message even if the mod page exists in the new URL format.

File a report on GitHub, if there isn't such a report already.

I agree the new layout is poor. I find it a lot harder to browse mods now than at anytime in the past.

thanks for the change not.

Sarcasm isn't feedback. I see nothing but opinion in your post because you didn't state why it's harder to browse. Scroll down to galacticninja's post--that is an example of good feedback.

No, Dark0ne stated specifically in the New Design Constructive Feedback thread that these threads (why did they multiply again...?) are to collate in one place all the stuff for the dev, Kit, to go over once Vortex is released. Since the old site is going offline around February 12th, I'm hoping this means that they'll be releasing Vortex either right before or shortly after that date.

Then we should expect (and I'd say we have a bit of a right to expect) changes to the new site to start in earnest.

It wasn't ever intended for playing Skyrim on mobile. It was intended that Vortex would be able to be used via mobile so that when you're browsing on your phone on your lunch break at work, you can tag mods you want to download and they'll either be cued and ready for you at home when you next log into the new site, or they'll automatically start downloading as soon as you log in.

Just a small heads up, but the sub-domain urls "<game name>.nexusmods.com" aren't the "old format", they're -ancient-, from times long before the new layout even became an idea. Of course the devs might be able to look into it and come up with a redirect solution of old, once reported, but it's nothing to do with the new layout having been introduced.

But as you already showed, it's easily fixed yourself in the mean time. Just shift the game name from the subdomain into between the domain and "/mods" like you did above, everything else will always be the same.
