Notifications have lost two extremely useful features:

1) The thumbnails.

2) the dimmed colors that let you know which notifications were reviewed.

im not a big fan everything just seems to chunky and spread out, my daily check up of clicking a game, hitting most recent and then looking at mod names that caught my eye have now turned into a much slower process due to all the chunkyness :(

You know what you have done? You created windows 8 with its tablet style menu. You are forcing a user interface no one was asking for and majority don’t want. And you are seeing the same backlash as windows 8, which is why windows 10 replaced it. We are tinkers, modders, hobbyists , geeks who don’t need a dumbed down system. Nor enjoy one.

Give us at least a toggle to switch to previous menu system. This is awful.

This will take some getting used to, I tried the beta for a day or so, but wasn't really into it because it was harder to find stuff. It's still kind of hard based on how things are labeled, but I think over time i can get used to it.

 

Things i'd like to have back is what @respaldoshugo mentioned, which are the thumbnails and dimmed colors for notifications you've read already. Those things are super important for mod makers and mod users getting notifications when modders upload stuff.
