Phalanxz9
I have Morrowind on steam and apparently and surprisingly there was a recent update. Steam doesn't seem to be able to do the update due to a file access issue, which I presume is due to vortex managing Morrowind. Is there a way around this? Surely you can do steam based game updates while using Vortex, with a given game?
Pickysaurus
You should probably purge your mods and close Vortex, that will release any locked files (although Vortex doesn't lock anything when it's idle).
rmm200
Vortex does not manage games. It manages mods.It does not even need to be running when you play the game.I have been here a long time - and I have never heard of a Steam failure to update due to Vortex.Well OK - Vortex does call them managed games - but it is the mods for that game that are managed. HadToRegister
Morrowind had an update? What was it for? Most likely a Steam update for C+ libraries or something, not the actual game.
