Also, there is a wiki for mod compatibility ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). One or more of your mods may need to be updated/changed. BTW, SKSE does not need to be run through Vortex, you can make a shortcut to the SKSE launcher, which can save some resources for running the game.

Flat chested Armor and Clothing for Female Dragonborns.
7531Leonidas replied to ChiefSwiggum's topic in Mod Ideas
Practical Female Armors ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2628 ) - one of the pinned comments contains an introductory description of how to change armors to mimic the male armors. Practical Female Blades Armor ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34177 ), and bodyslides ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58565 ) Practical Female Golden Saint Armor Replacers ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/98389 ) Practical Female Hide Armors ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38823 ) BTW, you should probably ask again on the Skyrim Game Community forum, go to Game Communities at the top of the page, scroll down to select Skyrim, then Skyrim SE. Join to post. -
I had several mods that I had to deactivate before starting a game in LE for this not to happen. I wish I still had the list, so I could tell you what type of mods did this. I am pretty sure that this is some sort of mod conflict, however.
-
I am pretty sure that there is, or was at least one such mod, but it may only be that it would keep you from being the Dragonborn.

@UsernameWithA9 Sorry, I thought you meant that you only posted in the Construction Set and modders forum, not the general Morrowind Discussion forum, because I looked in the Discussion forum. Glad you found a solution to your problem!
-
@UsernameWithA9 Did you try the main Morrowind game community forum here on the Nexus? It looked like there might be a few more modders that view stuff there...

Skyrim SE - Mod Detectives Thread
7531Leonidas replied to DoctorKaizeld's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
@Waltjac7 FYI - the left hand rings mod doesn't work with any races other than vanilla, which is why I don't use some mods like Charmers of the Reach that introduce new races somehow. -

I am not sure, but you could do a search on the effects of the perk to make sure. I like to use the UESPWiki ( https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page ) for stuff like that. FYI - I looked there, the description only states that you can pick locks without being noticed. You could try it with your NPC and see, just don't save the game if it doesn't work. -
Skyrim SE - Mod Detectives Thread
7531Leonidas replied to DoctorKaizeld's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
@Waltjac7 There is an older mod, Left Hand Rings Modified SE ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3240 ) that will allow your followers a second ring, and I think it also allows the wedding ring to be placed on a different finger, so a total of three for a follower. I have several ring mods, so it may be one of the others that allow for the wedding band to be a third ring. -

You could use xEdit to give that follower the perk that makes them undetectable while picking locks. -
We need more quest-mods like VIGILANT and GLENMORIL
7531Leonidas replied to Kukushi77's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
@Karna5 I think that Nether's Follower Framework has settings for follower stealth. It helps, but is not perfect. You can also adjust many things about your followers, including aggression. -
Which mod adds "Birna's Missing Shipment" Quest?
7531Leonidas replied to Hluill's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Glad I could help, but scorrp10 reminded me of using the 'help' command in the console to find the quest and the mod numbers. I don't use the help in console very often. -
Mod faction inons not showing in game
7531Leonidas replied to davidcmac's topic in Mod Troubleshooting
This is a general forum, so you should include the name of the game in the post title, or tag the post. You can also find the game-specific forum by clicking on 'Game Communities' under the Browse menu, then scroll down to your game, or search for the game title. You have to join that game forum to post, however. -
Which mod adds "Birna's Missing Shipment" Quest?
7531Leonidas replied to Hluill's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
I have Birna's missing shipment showing up twice in a mod - More to Say ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22622 ), in moretodo.esp, and moretosaywinterhold.esp. -
When you said 'clean slate', did you mean that you uninstalled Skyrim, rebooted, then installed Skyrim anew?

At this point, you might as well move on to the newest, which is, AFAIK, 1.6.1170. That wiki will also have information on mods that are up-gradable or otherwise. Make sure that you get the proper Address Library for the game, as well.

Something has been done to keep Steam from seeing the game files properly, I renamed the appdata.manifest to keep updates at bay, but Steam still shows that I need to update. Check the pinned thread on how to keep Skyrim from updating to see if you changed anything else.
-
SKSE 2.2.3 for SE 1.6.640, 2.2.6 for 1.6.1170 - check silverlock.org to be sure. Wiki for mod compatibility for various SE versions ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). To get Skyrim to update, you could simply 'Verify Game Files' in Steam. Make sure anything that you did to keep Steam from updating is undone/reversed.

Popular Classic Mods vs Newer Underrated Mods
7531Leonidas replied to crimson2018's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Just like you and the cobblestones, I can no longer bear to ride in the cart at game start. This is why I run ASLAL. I used Interesting NPCs for a while, got rid of it for my current playthrough, as many of its side quests (and characters) seem to be quirky at the very least, and can be a compatibility nightmare when running many mods (over 1500 for me). Most of the NPC overhauls have a common flaw for me - although the authors obviously worked very hard on them, most of them have faces/features that are too similar, and my pet peeve with many of them are that they 'normalize' the races to some extent, where I really can't tell if a particular NPC is a Redguard (skin lightened), or which type of Elf is in front of me (again, skin tones are lightened or too similar to each other), or am I looking at a Breton w/elf ears. -
It may be an unpopular opinion but...
7531Leonidas replied to blandpanda's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Well, I am managing over 1500 mods in Vortex, conflicts are revealed upon installation, giving the user the end choice of how to resolve them. It is my understanding that Vortex does use a VFS (links to mods are in the data folder), just not in the exact same way as MO (which I used for a time in Skyrim LE). The VFS in Vortex allows for mods to be run w/o having Vortex running in the background upon game launch. As far as Vortex errors, I seem to remember a LOT of mods that had to change to be used in MO, especially wrt its use of the overwrite folder, and how the mods were packaged. You are just coming in on the tail end of those changes. -
Have you searched through the Skyrim SE forum? 'Game Communities' at the top of the page, scroll to Skyrim, join the Skyrim SE section to post. Just searched it myself, someone else had a similar problem, had to update VC from MS. Maybe you should check/dl and reinstall it? Make sure to get the proper version of the installer for your machine... (Don't make the same mistake that I did, to d/l the x64 ARM version, not the x64 version!)

Skyrim SE - Mod Detectives Thread
7531Leonidas replied to DoctorKaizeld's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
@Omny There is Aradia Living Armor ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/37171 ). Definitely NSFW, and female-only. IMO, it doesn't preclude you making something different/better. Good Luck! -
I see that you have USSEP, but I don't see the Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Content Patches ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18975 ). I don't use the expanded AE CC stuff, so I don't know if it may help. With you running the latest GOG version, I am pretty sure that you do NOT need BEES, but I wonder if there might still be some problem caused by Bethesda's mod manager somehow, as plugin deactivation was reported after ppl opened Beth's mods link in the menu. I hope that someone else w/more knowledge comes by to help. Good luck!

A nexus.wiki page that has information on updated SKSE-based mods ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). You can check your SKSE affiliated mods there.
