  1. According to comments on the mod page, your problem occurs when you have not installed the part 2 of Engine Fixes correctly. For your convenience, here is the comments page directly ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230?tab=posts ) the ppl posting the corrections do not have author privileges, so they have to keep bumping to comment. Scan the responses, and see if anything applies.
  2. You could try this on your next game - ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/248 ). WRT the opaque vessels, I thought that the quest markers pointed to each vessel, you might want to check. I just went through that dungeon this morning, but my game is so heavily modded, I don't think I could be of much help otherwise. The draugr deathlords shout unrelenting force quite often, the vessel might have gotten blown through the wall or floor.
  3. First, you do know that ~epc (enable player control) is different from ~tfc (toggle free camera)? Are you launching the game through the SKSE loader? If using a mod manager to launch the SKSE loader, make sure that it is properly configured to launch it. There is probably a place to input the particular location for your SKSE location, and the loader location. To check for updated .dll mod files, go to ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). It stays pretty much up to date, except that there are so many changes having been made.
  4. No help here, ghowriter, just wanted to put in my two cents worth: It is my impression that the number of experienced participants in this forum has dropped greatly since the forums were updated, and that was also after a pretty big kerfluffle over mod collections, and the ensuing withdrawal of mod authors a couple of years back. When you add to this the recent release of BG3 and Starfield, among others, which I am sure that many are investigating their options in those worlds, the number of people available on this forum who are capable of answering your question has been greatly reduced. Also remember, the mod pages themselves are not yet part of this forum, don't know exactly when/how they will be integrated. I know that I miss being able to search the comments on a mod's page. Most of us won't answer a post, unless they feel they have something useful to add, or to share.
  5. You could take a look at Guru 3d - they have a lot of reviews up on both discrete and built-in graphics stuff... Of course, it won't be completely applicable to your particular setup, but might give you an idea on the performance changes/deltas.
  6. This one I know! Take a look at ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). This can help you find some of the information you need, it's just hard keeping the thing updated, what with all of the changes.
  7. I think that you should go back and read the appropriate post again. I don't think that removing Engine Fixes does anything good, due to the fact that both v 1.6.1130 and 1.6.1170 removed some Steam related stuff, and that is where the problems come in, wrt SkyUI. That is why I said you should EDIT the Engine Fixes .toml. You can also search the Vortex Support forum for something like 'plugins disabled', or 'load order lost', etc. The information is scattered about a bit, but hopefully someone will come along and put together a concise summary... Also, on the SE forum: Good luck!
  8. You should probably be asking this on the Skyrim SE forum in Game Communities, as the regular viewers there will have more experience with the game. You will need to join to post. From the Vortex Support page: Focus on Engine Fixes .toml info - you have to edit several lines.
  9. Re: plugins getting disabled - look at and see if the solution there applies to you - editing the engine fixes .toml...
  10. This is not a mod problem, you should probably look at the Vortex forum. I am sure that I have seen more than one post on this topic, and solutions were included.
  11. Use only ONE Address Library (the latest that matches your game version). Make sure that the .toml for Engine Fixes is in its proper place (...steamapps\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins.
  12. If you keep posting about the same thing on several different places, you will be flirting with getting banned, either temporarily or permanently. Stick to one forum at a time, the more game specific, the better.
  13. I posted a reply to you on the Skyrim SE forum. You should probably stick to that forum. You will find more ppl who have the knowledge to help. I am not even sure why this forum is here, as posters often don't even state the game that they want information on. I think that this was made for mod authors to toss around ideas in, general stuff about scripting, graphics, etc.
  14. Are you back to using Vortex now, or are you still on MO2? If the former, try NOT using LOOT after Vortex, which has a built-in version of LOOT. You may be undoing what you have just done. If you want to double-check your LO, just run the 'Deploy Mods' found on the Menu Bar of the Mods page. AFAIK, the standalone LOOT has no access to the choices you make re: mod conflicts in Vortex. I did (some years ago) what you are now doing, and it only messed stuff up. Make sure that you have the 'Deploy Mods when Enabled', and you should be ok. I do not use the 'Install Mods when downloaded', as I often d/l stuff for future use. There is also a 'Autosort Enabled' choice on the menu bar when you are on the 'Plugins' page. Make sure to have the 'Autosort Enabled', and if you mess around with the dependencies on the plugins page, make sure you click the 'Sort Now' button at the top. I don't think that it could hurt to run it anytime you are uncertain, can just take awhile, depending on your LO size. BTW, I didn't see any Unofficial patches for the CC stuff, which can have its own troubles. Check it out.
  15. When I was running a desktop with a GPU with only 8 GB, the system RAM usage was up into the 20-24 GB range, as monitored by Skyrim Performance Monitor. Just a warning - make sure that the onboard GPU has enough RAM, also.
  16. In the past, I thought 'Incompatible' referred to the header being form 43 (LE) rather than 44 (SE/AE). As to your issue, I think that you just need to pick which one that you want to win, and be implemented in game. All of the 'winner's' modifications will show up in game, while some/all of the overwritten mod's stuff will not.
  17. Nether's Follower Framework ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/55653 ) has that feature, don't know about other options. I set the hotkey for this option to the minus/dash (-) key, the followers attack to the equal (=) key, and the retreat key becomes the backslash (\) key, so that they are all near each other. There is also a Settings Loader ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57022 ) for this mod, so you don't have to go through the entire setting up process each game. I have found that I need to leave one save game from the previous character in the save location, then the settings will (mostly) transfer into a new game. I don't remember the one or two that don't transfer, sorry.
  18. Try this link - You should probably be reading/looking at the Skyrim Community under the Game Communities. You will have to join it to post.
  19. The author of both only issues updates for the newest version of Skyrim. If you do not have the latest files for each, you will have problems. If you need replacements for older files, you will have to get them from someone/somewhere else.
  20. Try going to the Mists of Tamriel page AND the page for the Cathedral patch (if it is different), then describe the problem there, asking about mod settings, and if there is anyone there who might know the problem, maybe it is an undocumented 'feature', instead. You might get faster answers than on this forum. I can't be of much help w/o using either Cathedral or Mists.
  21. I am just making a guess here, check the Mists of Tamriel mod page/comments for any similar occurrences, also it is possible that some kind of occlusion is being registered by the game, and not showing rain. I don't know where you would find the setting for ambient occlusion in your game/mods, but try turning it off for a test, and go play in the rain. Get the console command and value for some kind of rainy weather. That way, if you see the rain w/AO turned off, there is some kind of conflict between mods that may be a simple load order problem.
  22. Regarding other info, you should at least state which version of the game you are running, which mod manager you are using, and post your Load Order (LO), either by attaching a .txt file in your comment (try to use the spoiler tags - the 'eye' in the menu bar), or posting it on one of the file sharing sites. That way, ppl will be alerted to what you have, and their experience with your mods may be of help.
  23. I have had this happen many times in Skyrim. Usually, all I have to do is back off from mining, and start again, trying to adjust my PC's position first. It can take 2-3 extra attempts to find the correct spot to begin. Mining directly with the pickaxe can sometimes be achieved by striking at different places on the vein, the 'sweet spot' can be very small, or non-existent. I believe that this has something to do with the ground meshes interfering with the ore location, and the pattern repeats from game to game. As an example, one of the iron ore deposits on the south wall of Whiterun's exterior, west of Nazeem's farm, has never allowed direct mining with the pick.
  24. An FOV of 200 is quite extreme, I run at a 95 value, and do not have any of the above problems. I think the game has a default of 80 or 85 on desktop.
  25. @OdysseusTheWanderer Yes that Crash Logger - follow the link above - is dependent upon both the proper SKSE64 and Address Library versions. It is NOT the original Crash Logger. Just use the versions of SKSE and Address Library that match your Skyrim version. BTW - Vortex will allow you to see which of your mods have LOOT messages, or some sort of warnings. Just go to the 'Plugins' area, and click on the 'Flags' dialog window. There, you have many choices available for more information. I don't usually have much use for the 'Tags' selection, but the five just above it (Dirty, Don't Clean, Warnings, Incompatible, LOOT Messages) are easy to access. You must enable the Flags column in the Toggle Columns gear/cogwheel. You will have to double-click on the message balloons you see to read the message for each plugin. Any sorting needed for patches are often automatic, but you may have to use the conflicts resolution (lightning bolt) procedure in Vortex. Just click 'Show' under the notifications bell item, OR double-click the RED lightning bolt to the right of your patch, and you will be able to choose which one(s) win the conflict. Sometimes a patch may also conflict with some other mod, but that does not happen very often, experience - AND the willingness to go to the mod site's 'Posts' or discussion areas will help you research which one should win. I am also not interested in pay.
