Go to the Skyrim (SE) Game Community, and search for it on that forum. Several people have posted mirrors of the file at various locations. I could not get VectorPlexus to accept my e-mail address, so could not join there to d/l.

Home screen and game zoomed after video card update
7531Leonidas replied to Vatanabe's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
@Vatanabe Were you able to fix your problem? -
Did you make sure that your Racemenu version is the proper one to go with 1.6.1170? Did you look at the various logs in Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE to see which one(s) failed? HINT: if you arrange them in descending order by Date Modified, you check the latest one at the top, first, then proceed down the list.
-
That is what confuses me, I have no idea how to set up the CBBE stuff like that, and all manipulations of the CBBE mods are done through the base mod and its addons through Vortex, which should be making the changes in the data folder, not any manual edits by me.

Home screen and game zoomed after video card update
7531Leonidas replied to Vatanabe's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
Used a 2080 RTX until about a yr ago. Did you check whatever passes for the Nvidia Control Panel, and/or individual game tweaks in the driver? Did you also make sure that Skyrim's SkyrimPrefs.ini in your Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition folder has the proper screen settings under [Display] (iSize H = xxxx and iSizeW=xxxx and [Launcher] sD3DDevice=your vid card). You should have launched the game from the Steam launcher or whatever standard launcher after the driver update, and not the SKSE launcher, for it to detect the new card driver, and to modify any settings. MAKE SURE that you have protected your Skyrim from auto updates before you do this. Alternately, search for a way to get that Skyrim display settings to launch separately, w/o launching the game. I think that there is, but I have forgotten how. -
Head missing, frost spewing, plugins many
7531Leonidas replied to Sticksaka's topic in Mod Troubleshooting
You are very welcome, I wish that there was some kind of disclaimer/pointer to the game communities for new users. There is a lot of initial confusion about the forum setup. -
After the 1.11.3 update, Vortex has seemingly taken a dislike to my mods that allow one to adjust the female parts textures on CBBE 3BA w/o reinstalling the entire mod. Once I use them, Vortex alerts that something has changed the files outside of Vortex, and only allows for quitting Vortex, or applying changes. This occurs even though I uninstalled/installed the mods (base and reinstallers) from inside Vortex. I assume that I have something misconfigured, which was brought to the fore by the newer deployment routine post-11.10, but I have no clue as to what. I currently have the physics config reinstaller and the vagina textures reinstaller set to load before the base mod (makes no sense to me, orig had them loading after), but Vortex alerts only on the vagina retextures, and with the conflict set to load before or after the main mod. Any suggestions on how to correct this?

Vortex keeps purging when I download and install a mod
7531Leonidas replied to blesch's topic in Vortex Support
I don't know if this will help, but I have never seen the purge loop, have the Mod Dependency extension enabled, but have Collections disabled (on W10 Skyrim version 1.6.640). Maybe they don't play nice w/each other in some circumstances? -
As long as the mod does not specifically require the additional, paid 'bonus' content, you should be ok using them. Think of it this way, 1.5xx - SE, 1.6x - AE, and the AE versions can be with/without the bonus CC mods from Beth. There is a nexus modding.wiki to help with SKSE mod compatibility here ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ). You should also probably join the Skyrim Game Community, via the 'Game Communities' link at top left. You will get much faster help, and probably more experienced help, there.
-
If you clean your masters, then yes, you must clean again after every Beth update to a new version. Not even getting to the main menu usually means that one or more of your SKSE-based mods are not updated/compatible. Go to ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ) to check your SKSE mods against that list.

Head missing, frost spewing, plugins many
7531Leonidas replied to Sticksaka's topic in Mod Troubleshooting
Looks like you are using Skyrim (LE or SE) from your problem, so go to the 'Game Communities' selection at the top of the page, click on it, and select 'Skyrim'. That will get you into the Skyrim area of the forums. Join, and then go to the specific LE or SE forum, and search for 'head missing', or 'frost spewing'. I have seen some others post about this very problem. Very likely to already have been solved. BTW - this is a general, catch-all forum. Any game you have a problem with, look in the Game Communities first, to see if it has a dedicated forum. That would be a better choice. If there is no such forum, and you have to post in one of these general forums, you should include the name of your game in the title, or tag your post with the game at the very least. -
Thirsk Mead Hall Riekling Forge Retexture
7531Leonidas replied to Adacho1331's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
@Adacho1331 Try this ( https://forums.nexusmods.com/games/page/1-welcome/ ) -
This is a general mod forum, you should probably put the name of the game in your post title, and/or tag it with the game name. Also, if there is a separate forum for that game, it can be found in the 'Game Communities' menu item at top left.

I/O Error "Disk access failed repeatedly...."
7531Leonidas replied to jr0ck90's topic in Vortex Support
Has Windows Security (or any other antivirus) shown any flags/actions taken? It seems to be a bit more agressive as of late, at least on W10. -

7531Leonidas replied to Adacho1331's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
There are several general retexture mods, I use Skyrim 202x downscale (still big mods). You probably would have a quicker response if you joined the Skyrim Game Community, start with the Game Communities menu item above, and select Skyrim. There are separate forums for LE and SE. You have to join to post, but more users of Skyrim are regularly there, so more eyes on your problem. I don't know that it helps much, but here are a couple of screenshots - -
A Fix for All Plugins Disabling after 1.6.1130
7531Leonidas replied to Pickysaurus's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
This means that if your Skyrim SE version is either 1.1130 or 1.1170, you may have an older, unmodified version of Engine Fixes (now at v. 6.2 - it is not supposed to have this problem), or just need to change the value in the EngineFixes.toml (found in your ...\steamaapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins) to false. This is the line you need to change, if you can't/won't update: EnableAchievementsWithMods = true # Enables achievements with mods active There is a separate mod that will do the same thing to replace this setting, I think that it is OK with both 1.1130 and 1.1170 (or corresponding GOG versions). -
Thirsk Mead Hall Riekling Forge Retexture
7531Leonidas replied to Adacho1331's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
If you evict the Rieklings, it will change itself. Don't know about leaving the hall in the hands of the Rieklings, as the nord forgemaster there tells you that the Rieklings filled it with garbage and refuse. -
The only thing that I can think of is that you have not saved the preset that you worked on as the default body. You say that you have, but I know from personal experience is is very easy to mess up. I don't have any more ideas, in any case. Will look @ your screenshots, but I don't think that I can be of much help. I think that this will take someone much more experienced in BS/OS than myself.
-
You actually opened up the body file, saw it via the 'Preview' button, and adjusted your sliders to make it more to your liking, then used 'Save', or better 'Save As' (with a new name) then clicked 'Build'? That should be all it takes to get the nude body adjusted, having made sure that the 'Preset' is set to your new body style name. The other stuff is to get outfits to match the body sliders. One more thought - did you somehow uncheck the path to tell BodySlide where to save the default nude body (just above the batch build menu item)
-
A couple of possibilities - do you sync your saves through Steam? I used to get problems from that. Could also be a mod still in Form 43, not 44. Are you using a downgraded installation? You have a lot of CC stuff, but no Unofficial Creation Club Patch, or similar CC mod fixes?
-
Which body type, CBBE or CBBE 3BA, did you use as the body build in racemenu? They are NOT the same. When I first started, I did not know that I needed to save my body preset under a name (self-made, or it will override the included body style), then build it. You then can build matching outfits for that body by using the "batch build" and "build morphs" choices at the bottom left of the BodySlide window. 1. Open a body by selecting it in BS, and adjusting its sliders as you see fit for Low Weight and High Weight. Make sure to save it under an easily recognizable name (I use My CBBE Curvy Physics - it reflects what I started with long ago.) and save often as you make changes. If I remember right, there are a few body options and mods that require "zeroed sliders", make sure that you are not using one of these. 2. Once you have adjusted the body sliders as you see fit (using the 'Preview' tab), save it one last time, then click on the 'Batch Build" to make the outfits conform to your base body. 'Build Morphs' forces the app to build adjusted outfits for various situations, most notably wrt pregnancy. The first time you do this, you should get a lot of options to select from if you have a lot of outfit mods, mostly to choose between physics/not physics/which physics, or between the same base game outfits contained in outfit mods. If you later see that you made a mistake, it is pretty easy to go back and change to a different option. These selections are mostly automated, but you may have the odd outfit mod or source that you have to specifically build and save separately before use. 3. Enjoy the fruit of your labors in-game. I am sure that there is more to be done/learned, but this is what I have learned so far. I am pretty sure that others will join in to point out my misconceptions, or to give additional input.

Remember, this is most likely a very low-res LOD model for the tower. (And nothing else is covering it up or enhancing it.)

Which version of the game are you currently running? What is the resolution of your monitor? I have a 32" 3840x2160 monitor and some landscape/visual graphics mods, and they can take up 16 GB in my vidcard, plus 8 GB of my RAM. I had a 2080 RTX, and these graphics would take up all 8 GB of that card, plus 22-24 GB of RAM, at times. You could get and install Skyrim Performance Monitor ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3826 ) to help you see what is happening behind the scenes as the game runs as it graphs the information you check off on its display. Do you have any of the following installed and running? Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch - must have the latest Skyrim SE/AE running, or get an older version from someone. Unofficial Skyrim Creation Club Content Patches ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18975 ) - only if you have the larger, paid set of CC mods that come with Skyrim AE. SSE Engine Fixes ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17230 ) Skyrim Priority SE AE ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/50129 ) and setting the CPU affinity for your processor in its .toml settings document may help as well. There is also a graphics specific mod that might help, don't remember its name right now. Found it SSE Display Tweaks ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34705 ). Hope that some of these may be helpful.

Please help me find the mod causing CTD

Sorry you had to do that, but which mod was it? Recently, others have been having problems with CTDs on a weapon strike. -
Please help me find the mod causing CTD
7531Leonidas replied to bloodylord1997's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim SE
The "BloodSprayArrowImpact01" could come from any combat mod, or any mod that affects how your damage is displayed, and be compacted into that mod's .bsa or .esp. That said, I noticed that there is a HookDamage.dll in your crash log (will have to find which mod this belongs to), and FE5b mod RASS visual effects that might be good places to start to look at. You also have More Informative Console, so maybe try to load a save, open the console, and type 'help bloodsprayarrowimpact' or 'help bloodsprayarrowimpact01' to see what you get, to see if you can chase down the originating mod that way.
