The version my Oblivion disc has on it is completely unpatched, and no patches are included on it so when I re-install I have to download the patches again and reapply them. I have Shivering Isles, so I apply the basic Oblivion patch, and it patches just perfectly, no problems. But then I try to install in the SI patch, and when it gets to some "Readme.txt" file, it pops up an error saying "Old file not found" and then it just auto-terminates and doesn't patch the game. What gives? :(

I do not care what anyone says. I do not consider starving people, shocking them with electrical devices, or forcing them to inhale the fumes of harmful chemicals, to be "therapy" in any way, shape, or form. I consider it to be a horrendous violation of human rights, and a callous disregard for the well being of other humans. It is monstrous, inhumane, and cruel beyond all reason.
It is a place that takes in many people who are mentally challenged. Many of these people are not able to understand much of what the staff at this place expect of them, or why, or why all of these horrible things are being done to them. As it says in the second link, the woman had a mental disability, and could not have understood that getting the right answers to some questions on a computer meant getting her meals, yet they completely disregarded that and showed no consideration for her health.

Does that mean Sithis is real, too? I always suspected that "Wrath of Sithis" wraith that comes after you if you're naughty was actually just some sort of summoned creature that the Black Hand uses to keep the lesser assassins in line. But I'm not so sure, cause it said somewhere that Sithis never actually interacts with the mortal world directly. But... does he exist? Is "he" actually a "he"? This started very suddenly, I have not recently installed any new mods. But now I cannot load a save made within the Tamriel worldspace, nor can I fast travel into it, or enter it in ANY way or my game crashes. The IC worldspace works fine, as do interiors and other world spaces added by mods... but the very main and most important game world space is just not working. For the life of me I cannot figure out what is going on, can anyone think of what could cause this? :(

What can be said, really? Sexualized type stuff sells, as a general rule. 'Tis just the way humanity is. Everyone has different preferences and tastes.
Not everyone is always going to like the same sort of things. To each their own.

I filled up cell (part of a mod I'm building) with firefly effect boxes. Looks great in CS.
In game? I don't see any of those silly fireflies! Like, the effect boxes just don't seem to be working, at all. Is there something you have to do, or a setting that needs to be turned on to make them work?

Are "The Elder Council" and "Origin of the Mages Guild" compatible with Better Cities? I know the authors of those mods are not on good terms with each other so I'm doubtful about patches, just wondering how compatible the mods are with each other.

Sorry. I just realized the glowing DOES work for normal eyes, the ones you select in the CC, but for some reason the game is not applying the glow maps to the eyes that characters get upon becoming vampires.

But I thought the taint wasn't genetic (realistically speaking, it should not be), that any children born to a Warden would be normal? I understood that the only reason the Dark Ritual child was tainted when it was conceived was because Morrigan employed some magic tricks to make that happen. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/wacko.gif

The only issue I had with the books was the Mages Guild going down the toilet. Biggest "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" ever, I adore the Mages Guild. :(
But on the subject, I wasn't thinking about anything that complicated, really... 'twas just a thought they could use time skipping or something if that is even possible but IDK. And with the voice acting, if all else fails make it so only female humans and elves could do it? Eh, I'm not sure. I just thought it would have been neat.

It takes a LOT of time and work to put a good mod together. Modders share their creations simply because they are proud of them and want others to enjoy them, and it is very hurtful to them when people just belittle them and attack them for it. Really, how would you feel if you spent a lot of time putting something together, for which you were VERY proud of yourself, and you decided to share it with the community, only to have people attacking you and calling you and your work garbage? That doesn't motivate anyone to keep modding and sharing.. It's just a terrible thing.

I just downloaded this mod, installed all needed plugins and resources, etc. But for some reason I am getting "delinquent master" errors all over the place with them in Wrye Bash, I tried running BOSS over and over again but for some reason it will not sort them the way they need to be sorted. I can agree with remaking Arena and/or Daggerfall, but having a TES game take place in a Tamrielic equivalent of the industrial revolution just seems.. wrong, IMO.
For me, TES should remain a classic fantasy game with magic, elves and mudcrabs. There are many provinces yet unexplored, why not have TES VI take place in Argonia or Summerset Isle?

I think Black Marsh would be ridiculously awesome. Apparently that was where the third TES game was originally intended to take place, but they ditched it for Morrowind. (frankly though, I think another game taking place in Morrowind would be cool, if it's one that lets us explore the whole land, not just Vvardenfel. But, above all, I think doing remakes of Arena/Daggerfall would be epic (as long as they keep the main plots the same). Honestly, I have played both and I think it would really really wonderful to bring them back with a modern gaming engine. They really were great and they deserve some more love IMO (even though they may change some things for the worse, given that video game censorship was a lot more lax back in the 90's compared to how it is now. Why do video game have to be censored, anyway?)

You know what? After Skyrim is all done, I think it would be extremely awesome if they did a remake of Arena or Daggerfall with the super awesome game designing technology that we have now. Especially Arena, cause Jagar Tharn was a cool evil mage. I do not see why they would leave out vampires, according to lore there are vampires all over Tamriel. Plus they've been in every other TES game to date (even Arena, the very first game, and Daggerfall too), so... why would they break with it now?

I tried it but unlock spells still don't work on any doors, trying to open the doors to chapel undercroft, but they do not unlock. :(

MMM stopped working

The game kept crashing whenever I went into the Tamriel worldspace, and I discovered that it was MMM causing it. I honestly don't know why this suddenly started happening, it was working fine for quite some time, I used OBMM to install, I have the 3.7 patch, and I have FCOM set up correctly... I tried re installing the whole MMM mod several times but I keep getting the same crash in the main world space... what could have gone wrong?
edit: Tried reinstalling the mod a bunch of times, everything is fine without MMM, but as soon as I activate the master MMM file (nothing else) it crashes.... this is weird, I do not know why it has suddenly stopped working...
