  1. oh by the way the Leliana morph I use it one I made myself  essentially looks a lot like all the other "Sacred Ashes" inspired ones, cept I used her original, more natural looking shade of red hair.
  2. Yuck, I dislike. I hope my present Leli morph will take effect in the DC...

Ahhh now, Lechar. As someone who's one-and-only hasn't had the same hair for more than a few months at a time over the course of 30+ years, (we were waaaaay too young, but somehow it worked!) a change to Leli's coif barely registers on my "what do I think?" meter.

But I, too, hope that my current facemorph will take, 'cuz it makes her sooooooo much cuter in other ways! :woot:

BTW: What are you using? I like the "New Morrigan and Leliana Faces", by Cindy/Cynthe/Eshaye (Leli ver 2.0, Morri ver 4.0)

Feel the same way, I like a cuter more sweet-faced Leliana just cuz it suits her better, the original Leliana was too severe-looking.

  3. I never thought that the Dwarves had a bad attitude. Quite the reverse. The guards you meet treat you with respect, more than you get most places in the game. The common folk mostly treat you with respect as well, with the exception of a couple of merchants. The criminals give you massive ego stroking if you have any ranks in Coercion at all, excepting Jarvia (and you kill her). Warriors who have spent years fighting the Darkspawn treat you well in the tavern, and with respect in the Deep Roads once you prove yourself. Some of your enemies in the Arena fights trash talk, but that goes for any kind of fight. Once you beat them, at least a couple change their tunes.

Bhelen and his second are jerks, but that's their whole reason for being. They have flashing "We're the Bad Guys" signs over their heads, and you have to dig a little to learn that the "Good" Harrowmount wants to continue following policies that will lead to disaster for first the Dwarves and then the Humans. (Remember, Orzamar is the front lines; if they go, the Darkspawn have nothing keeping them in check).

You get sent on erands by the Dwarves, but you're everybody's erand boy in any CRPG. "Take this here, kill that, then talk to me again".

The Dwarves take a lot of pride in their (mostly dead) civilization, but then they should. Their engineering is incredible compared to anything humans have done in Ferelden, and they've survived a war that has lasted something over a thosand years.

Heck, the Provings are full of people who are impressed by your PC.

Sure, they treat human and elven Wardens with respect, but a dwarf Warden they treat like complete sh*t, whether they be a commoner that got utterly f*cked over and exiled, or a royal that got utterly f*cked over and exiled.

  4. Weird, I have not encountered that problem. I did find the fix for the Leliana eye bug that makes the eyes sink into her head when using the unique shapes tab. Do you have that installed? I wonder if since I have that it fixes the other problem you are describing leading to why I do not see the same problem.

No, I have that exact fix for the borked Leliana toolkit morph, but I still got the eye shape issue.

  5. I feel your pain. My heart was in agony for my poor Dwarf Noble...

Absolutely! It was my Dwarf Female Commoner Rogue (see avatar) who had her dreams crushed so unnecessarily by that cowardly, weak willed, illegitimate, ingrate!

As I posted in the thread "Non-human female Alistair romance king question...":

    =====================

I wish the writers/devs had at least added a more gentle let-down by Alistair for us non-humans.

    Something along the lines of:

"I'm sorry, my dear. Ferelden will need time before it can accept such a change, but I promise to work for that day!"

    =====================

Honestly!?! Would it a' killed 'em to have Alistair remain the lovable, if too easily lead, lummox we'd come to adore?

I know! Like seriously what is wrong with him? Why does he suddenly turn into a coldhearted jerk like that just because he's been king for 10 minutes? Before, he's like "oh I LOVE you SO much!"

and then when he becomes king and he's like, "I'm king now and you're not good enough to be a queen so we can't be together anymore and I must dump you forever. But hey, thanks for the sex!" then he just turns his f***ing back and walks out on you without another word... dear god, I know it's just a video game but I personally feel very deeply hurt by that. What a heartless, sh*tty thing to do to someone you supposedly "love". I wish killing him for that d*ck move was an option.

Well, if you choose Anora and Loghain you can send Alistair off to be executed. :whistling:

Mmm... true. But why does Anora want to kill Alistair just because you allowed her father to live??

Oh and when I play a female character I definitely prefer Zevran...he is cool and in the end the bi-sexual assassin elf turns out to be more loyal and devoted than Alistair ever was or could be....

    hehe

I only romance Zevran as an elven Warden (and have only done so as a female so far), not as a human or a dwarf because that just feels weird for some reason. not sure what it is, lol.

Anora wants to execute Alistair because he poses a threat to the throne; that is the only reason.

Yes, but why does killing Loghain make her not want to kill Alistair? WTF?

  6. This problem is really annoying and has bothered me for quite some time. I've noticed this with several eye shapes; like for example, if I want a character with only slightly slanted eyes, I'll set the slider for the slanted eyes at .40

But then when I go ingame and check it out, the eyes look all wrong because they keep appearing as though I have the slider set all the way to 1.00 and I don't.

This glitch seems to be present with all races and both genders. Like I can't just set one eye shape a tiny bit, it always just goes right to the extreme ingame and it looks all wrong... WTH!!!@@

Has anyone else noticed this bug? Is there anything that can be done to fix it? I'm so sick of all my headmorphs having messed up eyes!

  7. So what kind of creature is this male without a father going to become? Me confused

And yer I've wondered about that as well, is it going to be a boy or a girl?

And going back to my original question, does the Warden's continued existence depend on its life forever or something?

Oh well, I still think Morrigan is a dirty bog-hooker and i dun like her.

  10. Well since they don't appear to have released the MRH files for the vanilla NPC heads in Awakening like they already did for the core game, how the heck do you make head replacements for Awakening characters? There's a lot of very ugly abominations of characters that I really wants to make changes to
  11. Well dwarf society just sucks for the most part, and how easy it is to get screwed over and have everyone suddenly hate you... but I just love playing as a dwarf for some reason... being a dwarf makes my char more unique, and I just love being the short little hero/heroine. It hard to explain.

And yes, male dwarves are extremely sexy with them big strong arms. Lol

  12. How is it that Morrigan gets pregnant "naturally" if you sleep with her, even though Grey Wardens are supposed infertile because of the taint? And especially if the Warden is not human, because isn't it supposed to be extremely difficult for elves and dwarves to crossbreed with humans, even without the darkspawn taint inhibiting reproduction? Especially dwarves, since it's a well known fact that infertility is on the rise among their race. All of these factors make it so it would be next to impossible for a Warden to conceive a baby without the assistance of fertility drugs or something so umm... what the heck? How does Morrigan always get preggers if you do her, despite the odds being beyond astronomical?

Of course I'm talking about if you sleep with her at any point before the ritual near the end... the ritual is an exception since it's accomplished with the assistance of magic.

By the way, speaking of dwarves, why are Leliana and Bella the only ones who actually bend down on one knee in order to kiss a dwarf Warden? All other characters just seem to sort of come in at a weird angle for the smooching to happen. Why is this?

Grey Warden's are not infertile.. two Grey Wardens together are (if they don't use magic), but there can be a rare chance for a Grey Warden and a non Warden to conceive. Dwarfs themselves have a very low birth rate, but there are apparently half dwarfs. Elves do not have a low birth rate, but any child conceived with a non elf will create a non elf. so a human + elf = human

apparently Zev has one kiss where he does kneel (I had it happen with my dwarf. it was after the tent invite. and a mod has been created to cause better kisses and I use that now.)

No, I also understood that conceiving children regardless of gender is extremely difficult and unlikely to happen once you've become a Warden, even if your partner is taint-free.

  13. Ok. I'll power phrase what Mr. Gaider said at the official forums, children between humans and elves will have a human appearance. Children between humans and dwarves would reconcilable as half-dwarves as they would be shorter than a human but taller than a dwarf. As for the weird angles, that is BW saying that we ran out of cash.

True, but I'm pretty sure it said somewhere that hybrids are extremely rare (not that you'd be able to tell if someone was a human-elf hybrid since they'd just be the same as a normal human, but still...), and a big part of that is because they are very difficult to conceive... just because of like, genetic differences and such.
