  1. They did show screen shots and there is a trailer. And no, not ai, it just visuals, with shaders and textures. Not meshes (not confirmed, not likely however..) Okay. So, basically, we just wait an see. Meanwhile, we get to crank up our shivers of anticipation. Kind of an..."Oh, I'm all aquiver"...situation. I sometimes wonder if designers get a tingle out of revealing little bits and pieces of a new release, maybe a bit like a burlesque queen going through her routine...not a stripper mind you. There's a difference. BQ's always leave us wanting more. Strippers just kinda let it all hang out. Totally intentional. It's another way to drum up hype.
  2. Stuff like this usually happens when you do favors for NPCs, they'll allow you to take stuff from them, if I remember well.
  3. Everything that was said, also re-saving mods in the new CK, as I understand it. It is nice that there is more memory to be used this time around.
  4. Hmm....I don't believe I ever had the chance to kill Ralof or Hadvar, depending on my choices. As far as I know, they pretty much disappear depending on who you side with in the tutorial and the other is never seen until the whole thing is done. You can fight along side them of course - again, depending on your decisions - with Ralof or Hadvar. Though I haven't checked both of them after the Civil war is done.
  5. I always read that as an actual massive plot hole. Maybe someone can share some insight... It could always be that Arano is mistaken about his own history, though... and that it really happened like in Oblivion. I never liked those lines, lol.
  6. Hmm...I'm gonna have to second that statement.
  7. Hmm... that is a feature of the original game, for example Stormcloak camps are still around if you win with the Imperials and vise versa. If the Stormcloak camps aren't around and you checked the location and it isn't unlocked then...yeah, you might not get a complete.
  8. In response to post #42006545. #42007195, #42034580 are all replies on the same post. This is as much the truth for mods and modding as in real life peoples and cliques. And no, it's not really worth it.
  9. As far as I know, Anuriel is not really a Thalmor spy. The things she does however are working towards Maven more than anything. Only very indirectly can it help the Thalmor. She is, more than anything, in the employ of Maven.
  10. Hmmm, regardless of your personal perception on Serana, you may be able to kill her. However, have you followed the complete Dawnguard quest line? Probably not as she is a follower and has that essential tag.
  11. That might have been someone spotting Deacon in the same area, since one of his "disguise" outfits looks almost exactly like Sturges - only different is Deacon's still wearing his sunglasses. Yeah, Sturges, he is one, I checked in CK. Strong is not one, though. And my CK is acting like a bastard atm.
  12. In response to post #41252700. #41312430 is also a reply to the same post. And mine Axe!
  13. Hermeus Mora is the other very likely candidate. He has feelers on things, knows things, and it would be very convenient for him to have the Dovahkiin big and strong. He has plans.
  14. In response to post #40924330. #41026360 is also a reply to the same post. It's true, I make changes to the mods I download as well. Frankly, it's the things that keep me from actually requesting anything. If I can change it myself. Failing that, I simply do not use the mod, depending on the problem it/I have. I had to do these things in the past, and I believe I shall continue doing so. As for your second point. I suppose it's a mixture of them not minding/caring where the mods come from as long as they are there. Probably negligence combined with not knowing how to handle things. It's not nice, but covering your bases seems to be the way.
  15. "5,100 words. I’m done." *abruptly wakes up* Me : I was listening to the lecture, I was listening! *looks around, class ended hours ago, only a forlorn empty lecture hall remains and voices in the distance.* Oh..er...ahem.
  16. I had forgotten all about No Mutants allowed until this thread popped up. Frankly, the last time I was there was just a couple of days after Fallout 3 launched. Take my advice and forget about them, like I did. As for why the negativity here, it's for many varied reasons, and not simply purism. And not everyone who liked the older games (and others) will start comparing them now. Well, at least not me.
  17. It happened to me also, though not that I didn't have a past savegame, but that I went ahead with a pretty long questline...like Dark Brotherhood one, with a bug I didn't know running in the background. Do you have any mods that might alter the Tomb or Companions, maybe werewolves by any chance?
  18. You may need to reload an earlier savegame and then complete that quest again, unless it's a known bug. There were a lot of times in my many playthroughs that I had to do that for various reasons. If that doesn't work, it may be a mod that modifies the Companions in some way.
  19. @Pixelhate Maybe, but graffiti usually tend to be "clever" or "smart" about things. I think it's a safe bet that the one who wrote in blue was having a laugh, rather than being genuine about a stance.
  20. I suppose Magic also plays as a dampener on actual Science (Dwemer or otherwise). It's not completely critical to have it when you have that stuff swirling around and all the bright minds are at it. Unless they somehow relocate those resources to more..Empirical Sciences.
  21. So? Some eat cows others pigs, you got your vegetarians...and, yes, some eat people. (Strange Meat Pie)
  22. So the foe is beyond any of you. You dug too deep and too greedily. Sorry getting a flashback. But yeah, I was kinda guessing it would attract a Dev by reading the first post over there since it seemed thorough.
  23. Fallout 4 is what you make it. Or at least that's what I would like to say. Sometimes I feel I'm lowering the bar a lot, at others I feel I'm very jaded. It's hard to keep a middle ground with Beth games. To be absolutely honest...Fallout 4 is...just a game for me to play with mods I'm not a big fan of the script and writing and really everything else. Though there is a lot of eye candy, the game feels....generic (Stagnating maybe?). The biggest selling point to me are the mods. It's funny, but I actually find it tiring the whole clash of ideologies. I'm all for being in a tight spot and making tough decisions (Witcher series <3 and any of their kind especially when it feels bad at the end, lol). But this route they are taking...eeehhhh.
  24. Depending on who, for that amount, they may end up marrying you. Never mind IHOP.
