  2. It looks like you have a decent connection to our Premium-only CDN from those results. Go into your settings and change your preferred download location to "CDN" then retry downloading the mods :) https://www.nexusmods.com/users/myaccount
  3. If the mod author chose to remove the page, I'm afraid you'll have to look outside of Nexus Mods for the file. Hopefully there's a legit source somewhere...

  6. Hey there, Can you please try again without using Firefox? If you're using a mod manager you can also try this link to initiate the download in Vortex (or whatever other app you use).
  7. Thank you for clarifying and removing that part of the post. It is disappointing that your trust in Nexus has been damaged, perhaps you'll feel differently once the dust settles a bit. I understand your intent was not to spread any kind of misinformation/conspiracy so no harm done now that you've updated your comment :) @maxmanatarms I don't really know why you're trying so hard to sow as much discontent as you possibly can through these wild accusations such as "Nexus is stealing money from their Mod Author fund". I'll be honest, some of the things I've read lately have had me scratching my head... Please stop posting baseless conspiracy theories. If you keep it up, We'll have no choice but to moderate against your account. This thread has been entirely derailed by these ridiculous accusations, so sorry I'm about this @WilsonBall but I am going to have to lock this topic.
  8. Try turning that preference off and back on again? This feature (and notifications) were pretty thoroughly tested around the launch of the new notification system. Perhaps you accepted the request via the forum instead of the site?
  9. I know you're upset, but it's not really fair to make up conspiracy theories - especially when they're pure nonsense. You're not paying us to "pass it along", you're paying via PayPal directly into the PayPal account of the other user. PayPal may take a cut of your donation if there is a currency conversion or fees involved but we have no part in the transaction (I don't even know how you think that would be possible!). PayPal donations go direct via PayPal. DP donations don't magically lose value. Premium memberships don't get cut short. It's up to you how you choose to support authors, but please avoid spreading misinformation.

  13. If you didn't even get an automated reply then one of two things has happened: 1. You're contacting the wrong email, use [email protected] 2. You email provider is blocking messages from us, meaning any reply we sent will either be marked as spam or blocked entirely.
  14. Your favourite games are cached so it may take up to 5 minutes for changes to be properly recognised. I'll make a note though to see if this can be made faster.

We have given a detailed explanation of what we are changing and offered mod authors the choice on if they want to continue distributing their mods with us, so that quote still holds true. :) You've made your views clear so please don't create new topics like this each time you dig up a random quote from 5+ years ago though, it looks a bit silly.
  16. I'm not really sure what to say here. I've tried and I can't replicate the issue (I used Waterfox, but it's basically the same thing). I will say, however, Firefox tends to come with a bunch of "privacy" options that break our site in various ways. If you change the game selector to "All games" and back to "Oblivion" does it show correctly?

  18. Thanks for the answer. But, isn't the United Kingdom (where Nexus is located) not in the European Union? Do EU laws still apply to the UK? After Brexit, who knows! I suspect we'll be forced to continue with GDPR in some form to keep the EU happy anyway. Honestly, the less personal info we keep on our servers the better so I'm not against removing it, I just wish these people who send emails to request a deletion would at least try to self-serve before doing so. It's a chunk of our day spent deleting accounts which we could use for something more productive! /rant
  19. As soon as your account shows Premium on the site/in your mod manager the benefits should kick in. If your download still don't exceed 2MB/s please see this thread: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5322760-reporting-download-problems/ It is also possible that your connection to your selected server cannot exceed 2MB/s for some reason (but we are not capping you).
  20. Thanks for posting the info. I noticed you didn't complete the speed test with all the CDN servers listed, can you please tell me what you get from the other servers? Based on your results, there isn't a problem with your connection, so this is indeed weird. It's possible you're not connecting to the two servers you did the test for though. Is your speed still inconsistent when downloading mods manually rather than with Vortex?

GDPR considers usernames to be Personally identifiable information (PII), even if they you made your username "RandomModder1212342354235435", so we remove them from any deleted accounts (either self-serve deletes or direct requests). This has been the case since shortly after the EU passed the legislation.
