The author name is not specified because it does have to be the uploader of the mod who blocks you, it can be someone with edit access to the mod page. As the message says, you should contact the mod author directly to resolve this. I have read your original comment and I can see how it could have been taken as a bit passive aggressive. Hi Croc, We're actually in the process of overhauling the categories and tags for the major games one the site in the next few months. We'll definitely keep this suggestion in mind as we work through it. Due to the massive number of mods it's something we have to be quite surgical about.

NMM is no longer supported (as of Dec 2016). You might be able to reinstall NMM to remove the mods, but your safest bet is to delete your entire game folder, redownload the game and start from scratch with Vortex. Feel free to post in the Vortex Support forums if you get stuck.
