    No. I've tried different words, spelled correctly. The problem seems to be that no search function is actually initiated. I do not get the "No results" page,,,this just pops up immediately : Honestly, I've never seen this before, but it has all the telltale signs of browser addon shenanigans

    While I understand your sentiment. Even if what you're suggesting was possible, we'd have to go through every single post since the site has existing an try to reformat it. Changes like you suggest are fine if you're starting fresh with no historic data, but Nexus Mods has a long history of posts/comments that we don't want to lose. If I were to guess. I'd say that the vast majority of users have never replied to a mod page via the forum or even weren't aware there is a forum version of the posts on the site in the first place. However, if there is a considerable amount of users who dislike this change we'll consider undoing it. Personally, I find the forum version of quoting less pleasant to read and harder to follow than comment chains on the site. You have to remember, forum threads are designed to follow a single topic of discussion, whereas mod pages can have several nested conversations going on at once.

    To echo what Dark said, I just logged into a test account with the same permissions as you and I got the results from the search. Is it possible you spelt your query incorrectly and getting no results was actually the correct response?

    The point is that it actually hasn't worked for years. It was literally breaking how comments looked on the site (not the forums, the site). You can still search the comments via the forum - nothing has stopped that from working. If I search the forum thread via "This topic", I only get a blank page. Hmm... can you please post a link to the forum topic you're trying to search. I'll test this out and see what happens. If the permission change has broken the search it may be a bigger problem. However, I have had cases where some topics are so large the forum just times out when searching for posts.

    Hi Ghia, As of yesterday we disabled the ability to respond to mod page comment sections via the forum. You can however still read them as normal. There were a few reasons for this, the main one being any reply via the forum to an existing comment chain breaks that chain on the site side and starts a new one, leading to disjointed and messy conversations. You are still able to reply via the comments section of the mod page as normal.

    Oh, I may have got your issue backwards. The smaller files are actually delivered by Cloudflare, so there must be a connection issue there. Hopefully it's a temporary issue though. If you have access to a VPN can you see if that makes any difference to the download speed?

    Each time it happens I'll need to know the server ID in the footer. Based on the current data I have it's something that happens intermittently on OF01 or OF02.

    Hey DaRealCuckoo, Thanks for providing the information. As the speed is consistently bad across all our servers it's likely to be a problem somewhere between your PC and our server. This can sometimes be resolved by reporting it to the ISP. If you have access to a VPN, another thing you could try is starting a download through that. If it's faster that way it's very likely to be some kind of routing problem.

    Hmm, it looks like you're connecting to Miami, which has the lowest speed from your tests. Every other server looks good though. You can choose your preferred download server if you're a Premium member. I'll feed this back to the team and see if there's anything we can do as I've seen a few issues from users in Brazil getting bad speeds from the US-based servers (which makes very little sense as they're physically the closest to you).

    I'm not sure if you have cancelled your membership, but your account is showing Supporter, not Premium. As far as cancelling goes, I'll copy in the response we give to these enquiries via email. While not ideal, please know that we are working on a brand spanking new membership system to replace the existing one. Once that is complete you should be able to cancel your sub through the site itself. We'll be writing up detailed documentation to go with it when it's released.

    Thanks for the detailed report. I'm not sure that's something we'll be able to fix at the moment. We are planning to completely replace the search with a new, more powerful version at some point in the future. It is my hope that bugs like that may be irrelevant (or at least easier to fix) when the time comes.

    In the image above, you'll see that if you open the advanced search, you can click "Shareable link", this redirects you to a version of the page with a very long URL which will enter the exact same parameters (including page number). Using this link will return you to the same query that generated the page you are on. Just be aware that if you've sorted by latest (for example) if you return to page 10 a few hours later the results will be different as new mods have been shared since you generated the list.

    Merged 3 threads about the same issue. It seems that PayPal occasionally has a delay in sending us the payment confirmation, which leads to a waiting period before your membership updates. Sadly there isn't anything we can do about that.

    Any part of the page that has to a specific query of the forum database will be slow than the more "static" pages. It could also have been the site was under heavy load at the time. To put it simply, the built in search for IP Board really struggles to keep up with the amount of content on the site/forum so may take a long time to load or time out entirely in some instances.
