While it's a good suggestion, we currently don't use Google Analytics on the site because it's incredibly expensive and we'd rather invest in improving the site than paying for that. This might change at some point in the future though. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'll keep this thread in mind when we start looking at the comments section, but I'm convinced if we limit comments to a reasonable height and require a "Read more" click to show the rest that will offset most cases like this.

I'm not really sure when the standard changed to have buttons that way around. You can see the forum still uses the "confirm on the left" pattern. You're not wrong, but I do remember a time where that layout was standard.

I'm not sure it's necessary for the comment to be collapsed for all users, but maybe have the ability to close it yourself while scrolling through would be handy?

Without over complicating things, to get a file from a web server somewhere in the world to your PC involves that file passing through hundreds of difference servers and cables. Think of it like a water supply. If some of the pipes are small, damaged or very far away it will mean that you get your water in a slow trickle from that source.

Interesting feedback, it's worth thinking about. A better solution might be to simple keep the reply box open unless you press cancel?

I don't think we'll let you edit another user's comment, but the comment itself could be placed in a collapsible accordion. I believe another idea I've seen in a mock up from our designer is to have a maximum length for comments and a "Read more..." button to show anything that overflows that height.

There is a weird quirk I've also noticed with old accounts where the forums shows an avatar but the site shows it blank. I think this is a bug from a long time ago related to how Gravtars were saved. Next time I find an account in that state I'll have to look into it further.

I'm afraid that's just what the uploader of the image decided to call it. It's quite often that screenarchers don't use proper titles. Which would mean it'd be hard to find that image if you were to search for it.

This sounds like an intermittent caching issue. I suspect it may be related to your browser saving a copy of the page and presenting that to save downloading it again.
