I don't use either patch...... Try disabling it, see what happens.

I would suspect either the community patch, or one of the 'modular outfit' mods.....

I have steam set to offline mode, and start the game with sfse, via a shortcut on my desktop. Just gotta have steam running in the background, and it's all good, and steam does NOT update, until I tell it to.

I reported him, twice... But, there isn't a good category to assign that one, so, the first time, it was likely a very low priority message...... and got missed/ignored.
-
Ok, now THAT is just HILARIOUS. Whomever though up that trick, deserves his salary, and then some.
-
Pirate version of the game..... And he is no longer with us. So, F you right back at him.
-
And what I find absolutely hilarious is, even being so young, you set up a site that worked.... When beth, a billion dollar company, couldn't manage it with all of their resources......

I already feel old. I remember when 'flip phones' were a thing..... and cell phones were 'new' technology, and coverage wasn't nearly as good as it is today.... Of course, I don't personally have a cell phone. I really don't need to be that easy to find. Had one for work way back when, and EVERY time it rang it was bad news...... I hated that thing. So, when the job went away, the phone went away as well, and I never bothered to get another one. Sure, cell phones have their uses, but, the annoyance factor of ALWAYS having a phone with me?? Nope. I'll pass, thankyouverymuch.

Well, if you have the quest to go to unity.... that would imply you do indeed have them all. I have no clue why it shouldn't work though.... Try swapping ships, and build the armilary in a different ship..... Not like you are going to be able to take it with you in any event....
-
I barely remember being 14. The internet wasn't even a concept back then.... and computers filled rooms..... Technology has a come a LONG ways since then. Not sure if that is a 'good thing' or not......

Right there with ya on that one. I don't do social media...... (aside from a few forums....) I have a facebook account, but, that is ONLY for access to Facebook Marketplace. It seems to have supplanted craigslist.... (though I still use that once in a while as well....) Being on the Hotfiles listing does get you a bit more exposure, but, that's only if folks actually LOOK at them. I may look at 'new' files, but, for the most part, when I am looking for a mod, I already know what it is I am looking for, and search accordingly.... Endorsements play a small role in the decision of which to use, but, comments carry the most weight.
-
That's one way of putting it. Personally, I don't quite understand why folks do that..... I read comments.... Sure, endorsements carry some weight, but, comments are where the real meat and potatoes reside. If there are issues with a mod, you will see them there first.

Don't know, haven't tried.... I am not even sure if there is an option for it with the ship tech... which I would assume is the only place you could do so.... Seems you can own more than one, but, can you sell one? That, I don't know.

Host your pics some place else. ImageShack, Dropbox, or some similar site, (youtube for videos?) and then just use imbed links here.

Theoretically, that *should* be possible..... Starting the CK with SFSE_loader, should do the trick..... I think you need to rename it something to do with the CK, and even then, I don't know if SFSE even supports it for Starfield... but, that's how it worked in previous games.
-
Awesome. Gotta love the easy fixes.
-
If you are using the SFSE plugins to remove ship limits, those need to be updated, along with SFSE, each time the game updates, and you need to be sure you are starting the game with SFSE_loader. Those are what I use, and the are working perfectly.
-
Well, lets think about this a bit. You are trying to run the game on unsupported hardware, your CPU is below spec, and then you run a program that limits CPU usage???? Where is the logic in that? And then, to top it all off, you are running a Pirate version of the game??? Nope. Sorry. No support for you.
-
Go to where you downloaded the mod, and there is a "Posts" tab. That is essentially a 'forum thread' specifically for that mod.
-
OK, that's just odd..... Have you tried building the armillary at an outpost?? Do you HAVE ALL of the artifacts? The quest for going to unity??
-
What game version, and what version of address library are you running?
-
While I agree, there is no harm in trying..... I would bet it would be an exercise in futility..... But, you do you.
-
Dissuade people? How do you propose to do that? It's already illegal.... yet folks don't seem to bat an eye about regularly breaking them. Nothing "I" say to anyone is going to change their mind either.

Thoughts for Bethsoft (Starfield actually looks promising)
HeyYou replied to melvinius's topic in Starfield's Discussion
I don't agree with a fair bit of what you have to say.... but, I DO agree with some of it..... There are also mods available that address a fair few of the issues you bring up here. Doors and ladders in ships, for instance. There is a mod that blocks ANY automatic placement, and the player is REQUIRED to install doors/ladders where necessary. (except for cockpits, dockers, and landing bays, those doors are already hard placed on the models....) Base building.... Yeah.... that needs a LOT of work. I don't quite get why the system got so horribly nerfed from FO4... It is a major step backwards from the previous game.... Modders are filling in the gaps though... (as always....) I would like to think that we will see some dlc that adds significantly to base building... As it stands now, There is no reason for you to build anything, unless you enjoy that kind of thing, given its limitations.
