  1. Im having a problem figuring out where to look when it comes to "derived" stats in the actor window. So far; - Race, - Class and - Actor influence the total stats. Derived however seem to be hardcoded?!
  2. So the old colors were not your brand colours and not setup by your design team?
  3. Pickysaurus i really hope you guys will come up with an alternative option concerning the "coloring". That black on white is ok but the uniquness of nexusmods, is orange on grey. Iirc before that we had green on grey or something it was close after 2000. It would be something special to have such old UI skins as well. Nexus special edition, heck, you can tie it on a premium user account, unlock special UI by status....
  4. You can setup texture color, e.g. rim light in the actor reference window, so far all my test were negative. No effect on the rim light. It seems, SSSSS (screen-space subsurface scattering) is hardcoded and forced once player char or any other actor is in black environment, i assume there is a sweet spot for r,g,b which forces the game use the fake character light, rim light. I think one can circumvent it, making it possible to use without console command. Console commands can be forced by game setting overrides via plugin directly. This will circumvent any .ini override. The problem is sStartingConsoleCommand cannot be forced via plugin.
  5. I must have missed this, and feel more like the biggest idiot on earth right now: On the bottom of the page, nexusmods, one can revert to the old layout. Omg. Thanks to nexusmods for providing such a feature.
  6. Once and for all i would like to find a solution to remove character lighting without console command. Let's start ... Problem: This image was copied from the mod: Disable character light by robotgeant. General: Fallout 4 uses screen-space subsurface scattering, at least there's files referring to SSSSS (screen-space subsurface scattering) in the game archives. Solution using console command: Currently character light can only be disabled via console command: sStartingConsoleCommand=cl off For console users there is no way to inject that easily afaik. Solution without using console command: Reference: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3771 https://steamcommunity.com/app/377160/discussions/0/492379159717550777 https://reshade.me/forum/shader-suggestions/4693-rim-lighting https://polycount.com/discussion/161090/fallout-4-bloodborne-shading-technique
  7. uGrid 1 = 4096 uGrid 8 = 32768 uGrid 16 = 65536 your right, eventhough i thought in 3D space (x,y,z, 64k) when writing the "bad math" message.
  8. So its uGrid 8 for interior by default, right? Yeah, thats very impressive. It can be 16 cell transitions when enter/exit is set clever. I noticed that when keeping texture load small the cells can be massively eventhough very minimal on performance/load.
  9. That makes sense and would help to circumvent the black plane logic. My question was more, if black planes force the mini map to render, i noticed i made i mistake when doing research, if a new cell is entered and player char did not move so far, the minimap appear to be empty. lol As for black planes, they can be very handy to place them behind doors to hide the empty space, used for a bunch of load doors by default, in vanilla as well. thanks.
  10. Is it possible that the black planes force the interior map to be generated at all?
  11. The radiation is tied to the weather AND the region. Once the region is removed it will notappear anymore and only for rad storms afaik
  12. we are taking about the nexusmods beta UI progress, and technically how fast certain aspects can be changed. so im confused why it takes so long.
  13. I maintained a wiki for over two years, the CSS is super simple with the tutorials on the net. Almost revamp of the entire UI on my own. All you need to have is time, and willpower but there was nothing you couldnt do. If you have people doing it at daily basis, its a walk in the park compared to someone doing it as hobby. A friend of mine is doing CSS at full time job. There is nothing he cant do... and its very fast too. Once you have your presets you can build pages on the fly.
  14. Here, wouldnt it be prefect, to have this (used fandom wiki as preset): But also adaptive fonts? I think everyone would profit if there is some kind of option, to allow users on their profile to change default settings of UI like: visually impaired yes/no (prompts pop-up when user is new to nexusmods) if yes font scale bigger if yes color theme defaults to black Red–green color blindness yes/no etc.
  15. Optional old UI isnt towards a protest against the new UI. It would be interesting to have a voting feature for the new changes.
  16. Lets twist it, if there are as much users like those complaing about the current design, a handful so to speak, having problems with the UI, are visually impaired its a fracture of the majority not complaining at all. Telling us few who complain about the new design there were people complaining about readability i must seriously ask myself if its enough people in case of a vote to force an UI change. Please make the UI change optional and/or prompt a default setting based on machine used, smartphone, PC, console, etc. For PC users, prompt back to default UI.
  17. I like all your mentioned points, its like we are turning circles. Nothing will change at this rate for me. Its very disappointing. You can mod a simple wikimedia far easier and foremost, faster! It takes month to change the color UI? Seriously? Nexusmods old UI is simple and it works. Now with the beta we have font size XXL. For what? Are most games are played on smartphones now? ALso for what do we need this senseless statistics on the right hand side of the page?
  18. Gender for human beings is the logical consequence to reproduce. To find a solution, gender is irrelevant.
  19. Democracy is a sub-type of tyranny after Aristotle. If many people say, black UI is better IF your visually impaired well you have to accept it in case the majority of people complains. If the majority of people does not complain before black UI was a case well you can cleverly say the majority of people would not complain since they didnt complain in the first place. In fact having the option to split the theme into black and white, and somehere in between, like "classic" man this would be wonderland.
  20. +1 This is a major problem today. People focus on the consumer ... yet there is no plan how to manage the needs for the workers. Supporting workers is far more important, accessability, maintainablity, etc. If workers will leave, the entire concept, to make everything super duper nice and tidy for the consumer will collapse. The consumer in turn should focus on the workers first and accept the needs of workers in every aspect. Well the consumer wouldnt even notice most if consuming works, and consuming works only if the workers are motivated. Its a pretty simple concept, at least from the perspective of a worker, creator, maker, whatever you call it.
  21. Click: STRG+Q It works perfectly with the CK (vanilla) pieces. You just need to copy BGS logic. You can also try: SancRoadLoop01 to let it snap to: SancRoadLoop01End it works PERFECTLY. See for yourself: This would work with the Subway pieces aswell...
  22. I think you missed my point. Im not complaining about speed, im complaining about multiple issue reports, which are probably far less of a problem to change (e.g. color swap, ui). you might have your priorities but this is something you can say. no problem with that. and when i read your posting about hidden mod content it is more transparent for me now: yes it makes sense. are you considering to implemet a second tab for deleted hidden mods?
  23. If specific objects, actors, are tied to scripts, scripts can override any changes ...
