  1. I am having a funny issue where my latest fomod installer (which you can find here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16404?tab=files ) would show all its images in the proper places in nmm, whereas in mo2 it would only pull up null images until the very last option right before finishing install. Put it simply, I wish to make it so my fomod installer would display all of the images mo2 as well as it does in nmm. I am pretty sure it's something dealing with the xml structure, but I am unsure what it might be.. appreciate any input, thank you in advance, cheers,
  2. @ OP, BethINI by default should archive the previous ini by saving them into a cache within your My Documents/Skyrim folder. A quick search through my own computer shows: ..\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\BethINI Cache\Before BethINI but like the poster above me mentioned, try to learn from this experience =) cheers,
  3. Use MO2 as your manager, use NMM as your databank/downloader. You'll be able to do much more with half the stress. GLHF
  4. do it yourself, use SSEEdit open up the follower esp and then locate the value. No need to add additional work onto others.
  5. A big house located within the city/holds.. that's difficult to pull off. The best I think would be Blackthorn (buildable town) you could potentially make it happen yourself =]
  6. get "sse fixes" and you'll be able to reclaim a quarter or so fps. besides that perhaps lower your draw distances and lower shadow resolution down to half. gl hf,
  7. use TCAI and TAI the moment you go into a no-conflict zone. it'll shut off their behaviors in its entirety. The other way is simply to disable all followers and using the help to find their base id, making a copy and placing them right up next to you when you wish to recruit them, rather than having them camping inside a packed inn/pub. The former is if you're lazy, the latter is what I do (it's more lore friendly too, when instead of always meeting someone at a pub, why not in a dungeon, *boom* follower "found" there).
  8. Sometimes when I go into customizable camera's TFC grey screen happens and it freezes the screen until I disable TFC. This does not happen at all with command console TFC; what exactly is causing this to happen? Would like to prevent the likelihood of this happening if possible.
  9. Apologize with the wording; it was the User Files tab, in between the About Me tab and User Images tab. By "all files uploaded section" I meant the tabber that opens up after you select one of the main tabs. Incidentally upon checking it again it seems to have loaded it back up. Glitch in the Matrix? But what happened to me was that User Files tab stated 5, the Games drop down was highlighting "All Games" which was showing 5, however as stated before inside the tabber it would only displayed 4 files. When I select the actual game in the Games drop down, all the files would show properly.
  10. Thought I would bring this up, there is an issue where the total number of files uploaded does not match the total numbers shown. ex. you uploaded 5 items, the user files tab for all games will say you have 5 files, however only 4 will show in all files uploaded section.
  11. on the category column there is a contain scripts category, click it and it'll show you all the mods you have which includes scripts. as for an easier way to know if it has scripts or not: if your mods require the MCM or SkyUI to function it more than likely involves scripts. If the mod in question includes the following folders "SKSE" or ".dll" it's most likely a script.
  12. where did it occurs the most and what object were you interacting with prior? also do you still recall the moda you installed previously that led up to this? regardless, i think the issue is something due to a script issue. as a lot od your mods seems very script heavy
  13. this game at the commissary, I recall my brother and I sinking a good 10$ to go from start to end of the game, but that was money well spent, crazy that it's been 20 something years now, my time flies by..
  14. so... why don't you just set your draw distance to the utmost shortest then? you'll achieve the same results with less (much less) effort.
  15. aye, I hope there would be a feature for rearrange video media as reorganizing it be means of manually removing/readding them is tedious and cumbersome. So here's to hoping,
  16. Currently, if you're a mod author who happens to upload alot of media whether it be videos or images, the only way to reorder them (to my limited knowledge) is by removing them and reuploading all the content in reverse order. I am thus suggesting for the ability to drag and rearrange the media content for mod upload section or if there is a method to rearrange for someone to enlighten me. Thank you, kind regards,
  17. alrighty so the issue is holding rather than tapping, ty u 2 got it working :-)
  18. You can modify the sound files yourself with SSEEdit and adding a sound folder with your take on the giant sfx inside. And when you do be sure to upload, you never know other people might like it as well =)
  19. you can technically do this with a combination of skyui and smart spell cast. all you need to do is have the spells on hand and them make them into a spell ring, then hotkey them onto your f# keys.. when you're mounted or even transformed, so long as you have mana, you can cast the spells you hotkeyed. as far as shouting is concerned.. I don't know how one would be able to implement that with the workaround I described above.. but perhaps make an esp which turns shouts to spells then again just assign them to spell rings. Well this is how I would go about it, if I had the time. regards,
  20. condolences, first thing to note, do you by chance have mo2, if you do it would make addressing the issue you are getting much much easier (mo2 has a conflict category you can use to first eliminate some of the possible issues). Another thing to note is the install order, not the load order. Prior to using MO2, I too believe load order was absolute, but I quickly found out it was not, it is infact the order of which you installed your mod (or the priority they have over the others). Again if you have MO2 installed addressing install order issue is as simple as dragging the files above or below a row. NMM, you'd be force to reinstall your entire game (or a majority of it). I am assuming you don't use MO2, under that assumption, if you can put up with the hassle, I would strongly recommend you install Mo2 and transferring all of your mods to it.. this would make resolving your issue so easy it would make the hassle worth it. Things I can help you address regardless of your manager, first optimize your load order; what does that mean; it means not relying on LOOT as it is flawed (so flawed infact that it's the main thing that causes CTD for me these days). Here's a good guidelines on loadorder: Required esms World changes esp Overhaul esps Game mechanic changes esps Item/spell esps Follower esps Character replacers (textures and what not) Patches Test esps So basically, things you wouldn't want to change down to the most oftenly changed esps. Tracking down the main reason for ctds, believe it or not, the main causes most of the time (for me anyways) is due to texture/meshes either missing, corrupted or mismatched. This means, you should track down anything or modification that is anywhere remotely tied down to the area you're crashing at. I suspect you'll be able to address your issues there. How to address the issue specifically (again this is an absolute chore for NMM as you'd actually have to physically uninstall and reinstall everything taking a year and day to complete.. joking joking) for MO2 users specifically, just deselect the mods in the install panel until it reaches down to a spot where you aren't crashing. I would suggest you use the category and select mods that contains textures then disable all texture mods as most of the time you'll be able to find the cause right there. Disable all the mods in the category, then in batches of 20-30 reenable them, then fire up your game, see if it ctd, if it does not ctd, keep reenabling, once it ctd, disable the mods by group of 5-10 until you are able to pinpoint the exact mod. Resolve the mod: you have two options, fix it by whatever means, or omit it from your game for good, for purpose of having a stable game I would suggest the latter, but choose whatever it is you want. I hope this helps you; should you require additional assistance, fire me a PM (I myself were in your very shoes once, and through hours of patience I was able to resolve it and enjoy a stable game I have right now).
  21. seriously??? This is gold Jerry, GOLD! jk aside, thanks for the heads up, belated as it is. EDIT (through computer): You got me, it doesn't work. I meant including the editing feature after said post is already posted. :( You made me hold the screen like an idiot, well played..
  22. If you are willing to take the time to learn how to use a new manager, I highly recommend Mod Organizer 2, it's downloadable here on nexus. As opposed to NMM it allows you total power of how you control your game; first of all it is isolated, that means it treats each mod ie esp as its own load order, this mean you get to pick which mods you wish to run and the order they were installed by means of profiling, so you can essentially run any type of mods with any installation order at any time without risk of ruining your game. NMM does not do that. As far SSE Script Extender, you can find it on here: http://skse.silverlock.org/ Lastly, give Vitality Mode a try here on nexus, it's a fairly new mod, but the mod is light weight and does so while not impeding in the main aspect of the game. It's similar to FNV Hardcore mode if you have played or seen it on youtube you'll know what I mean. Welcome back to the game Cheers and regards,
  23. Okay, I resolved it with much difficulty.. For the others who happen to have the same problems as I, these are the steps I used: 1. Download the latest stable version of MO2, extract and replace over the one in your original MO2 folder. 2. Uninstall every place where SSEEdit is found, it doesn't matter which drive, MO2 toolbars, anywhere its found, just uninstall it all. 3. Extract SSEEdit into a new root directory; for instance my MO2 was in c:/z/, I placed my newly extracted SSEEdit inside c:/z/ as well. 4. Assign the SSEEdit into MO2, cross your fingers and hit execute, if everything went well it should recognize everything. I am sure these instructions would apply for other programs like LOOT however I have yet tried yet so YMMV. Cheers and all the best,
