  1. I'm working on building an "ultimate assassin" character, and so far I'm having trouble finding the right weapon. Right now I'm using cnyylzy123456789's "Bishu Osafune ju-Morikage" katana, and while it's a beautiful blade, I've found it a bit...large...for her. I've searched around for various smaller weapons, but I can't really find anything that suits her. I'd like a Japanese-style dagger or knife, if possible. I have Requiem installed, and while it adds tantos, it only adds them in iron and steel, which are a bit weak for a higher-level character, even when tempered, and visually, they're a little lack-lustre. Closest thing I've been able to find on the Nexus so far is the Darker Than Black dagger, which while visually attractive, doesn't quite fit what I'm looking for. If anyone can help point me to something I'd really appreciate the help! TL;DR - need short stabby weapon for ninja girl.
  2. That would be awesome. I used DMCStylish! in Oblivion, it did basically that, and I just can't find anything for Skyrim that comes close, save for Smokin' Sick Style, which is on a rather...questionable...website...which my computer did NOT like.
  3. Try this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54509/? It's probably not precisely what you want, but close.
  4. As I was playing through DB a few minutes ago, I got bored and typed in [help "Hrothmund"]. Among the various references to Hrothmund's Barrow and related quests, I noticed an item code for WEAP: "Hrothmund's Axe". I tried adding it to my inventory, and bam, there it was, fully playable. So I jumped over to the UESP out of curiosity and looked up the related quest...according to the UESP's page, the axe is not attainable. To my knowledge, I've never downloaded a mod to make the axe a playable weapon...what I'm wondering is, is there a way for me to figure out what mod may have added a playable version without pulling my massive mod list up one plugin at a time in the Creation Kit? I've kept this save pretty much cheat-free, and would like to attain it through 'normal means' if at all possible.
  5. Her dialogue was my fiancee's only complaint. I've never seen her drool over another woman - real or virtual - like that before. But she finds Sofia to be a bit...egotistical, perhaps? Personally, I love her, she's sexy and she knows it (girl look at that dragon, girl look at that dragon, girl look at that dragon ah-ah I can Shout)
  6. Hrm. Might take a minute or two to learn how to use properly, but I'll give it a shot.
  7. I've been using Tropical Skyrim for a while now, it's quickly become an essential mod for me. However, I'm noticing one problem...I'm still getting snow in the middle of lush jungles! It's good for a laugh, but a little immersion-breaking. Is there a way I can go into the .ini files and disable the snow?
  8. I also like the idea of random bar fights breaking out between two different NPCs. Say, for example, you walk into Candlehearth Hall in Windhelm. There just happens to be a Dark Elf sitting near a Nord, and suddenly BOOM, they start duking it out.
  9. I can't download ANYTHING off the Nexus right now. I have like ten pages bookmarked because I can't get anything other than a red outlined box.
  10. I've been looking at the screenshots and trailers for Brhuce Hammar on the Nexus, and while I like the idea of being able to pilot a giant Dwemeri robot in Skyrim...I don't think all the goofy Ratchet-and-Clank-style antics are going to fit into my particular game very well. What I have in mind is a gigantic Centurion, recoloured and renamed, that can be piloted by the player. Maybe call it a Dwarven Titan or something. I'm not sure how it even would be possible, but it apparently is. I also like the idea of having giant monsters ("kaiju" for lack of a better term) to fight using said suit. And of course, various ways of acquiring the mech could exist, everything from just stumbling upon it during a random dungeon dive to acquiring a device that brings it to your location.
  11. Following this. It would add a little more challenge to quests that tell you to "find so-and-so in such-and-such location". You'd have to talk around a little, chat it up, plan your next move.
  12. This is a really good idea. Dragonrend IS described as "a shout that can knock a dragon out of the sky", and it's supposed to make them feel mortality, something that would really, REALLY disorient a dragon. So a crash-landing makes perfect sense.
  13. The only way I can see making the Covenant "lore-friendly" is to say they came from Oblivion...but it's not a bad idea.
  14. That was one of the first things I noticed in the movie, how Sithis-y it looked.
  15. Gotta admit, the vanilla combat system is pretty dull. At least now I understand :)
  16. I know there has to be a mod out there that causes dragons to attack more than just the external-cell-only cities in the game...I just don't know where to find it or exactly how to search for it (searching for "dragon" is going to take me all week to sort through), so if someone could point me in the right direction... :psyduck:
  17. Then you're gonna love Brhuce Hammar: Legacy: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44557/? Oh. My. Gods. I am so downloading this now that I've watched the trailers.
  18. I requested the same thing in an earlier thread...maybe this one will take off (I was probably too vague in mine)
  19. Not to be "that person" but...why not just go buy Dark Souls...? And if you already have it...why not just play it instead...? As I said, I'm not trying to be "that person", but...I'm just failing to understand.
  20. Finally got to see Sofia in battle. That fireball she flings...gods above, man! I've never seen a draugr fly so damn far!
  21. So, I went and saw How To Train Your Dragon 2 last night, and it was AMAZING...got me to thinking. Hiccup's new gear was just awesome, and would even fit right into the world of Skyrim with very little explanation needed. He was a Viking tinkerer, after all. I'd love to see that gear in Skyrim if someone's willing and able. I can provide more details if needed, but I'm still "OMG-ing" over the movie right now, so at the moment I recommend just going out and watching it. :teehee:
  22. Yeah, there's a big nostalgia factor to it. And a UI full of movable, scale-able elements would truly allow each and every player to customise their experience that much further. I really recommend it. It's no Skyrim, but in my opinion, and the opinion of, if I had to guess, about 85-90 percent of Elder Scrolls fans, the best game in the series - and to some, it's the best game ever produced.
