minor point: ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated really doesn't need to be downloaded since it already comes with FOMM.

It may be a decent place for modders to mirror their files so if anything were to happen *heaven forbid* to the Nexus the mods wouldn't be lost. csb, try not to to think of it as being bad for the Nexus but as a possible insurance. I have seen some some good mod sites fall since I became part of the Bethesda gaming community in the TES 3 days.

If you get the the mod >Owned< you can pick his pocket or kill him for his house.

yes, the way I was able to do it was turn on the light (used "B" key) then press & hold the "B" key until the the option box came up. follow the instructions listed & it should work. &I did try the "Page Down key" & it does work for the light if bound.
-
a couple of questions... 1 ) did you re-bind that to a new key or is it still the "tab" key? 2 ) are you using the Pip pda mod? that sets the piplght to use the "B" key.

ah, more evidence that sueing is America's new favorite pastime. IMO, no matter the outcome neither side can really win this legal slapfest.

it doesn't really matter where you extract it, that step is more about checking to see if everything is fine (check the download and see if the files look fine & in their proper place), I extract mine on my flash drive

Question About Fallout/Mods Hard Drive Location
Skotte replied to superlarrio's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
To tell the truth, it's recommended that Fallout 3 not be in "program files" especially with Vista. My Fallout 3 is installed as "D:\Games\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3" -
 glad I was able to help I don't know why it happened, that hasn't happened to me since Oblivion, though when it happened it was usually because I was monkeying around with a mod or my loadorder.
-
you could try to restart archiveinvalidator, that may work
-
oh please say you didn't put the screens in a default .bsa file
-
You should be able to get the originals "back" if you delete the new ones. BTW: Welcome to the Nexus

Dimonized Type3 Female Body Does not show up in FOMM
Skotte replied to Fairfield's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
Why would it show up in FOMM? it's a body replacer. only esp, esm or fomod files show up in Fomm & it doesn't use any of those. -
Bones, dog whisperer, ghost Whisperer Adult Swim: Lately I've been really enjoying "Moribito" Balsa is awesome

Yeah this is an old discussion, at it's core IMO it's a culture clash between those who embrace something & those who fear it. I have heard that laws were very strict on games there (green blood & enemies had to be as unhuman looking as possible (don't know how true it is though that's what I've heard) on the event: In a way I'm surprised it that well, on the other hand it wouldn't surprise me if some parents used it to get rid of their child's games.

Is Nadine added via a mod or DLC? I ask because I haven't run across one in game or in the GECK.

have you tried >Breezes FO3 males<?

While I can understand why they'd want to do something after such a tragedy. IMO violent or "killer" games are a convenient scape goat. it's a simple non-solution to a complex problem.

Pacifist Fallout Experience - Could it work?
Skotte replied to marcelteaching's topic in Fallout 3's Discussion
marcelteaching, how would your character feel about using robots to do some of the gunning? I haven't tried it myself but "RobCo Certified" (no link as there are a few variations, just search the filesite) might be for ya. -
I just LOVE playing Fallout 10 seconds at a time
Skotte replied to silvawhite's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
Are you saying I should set it on like... medium or something? Thanks its nice to feel welcome :D yeah, just don't trust the detail (low, medium, high & ultra) buttons to much. -
I just LOVE playing Fallout 10 seconds at a time
Skotte replied to silvawhite's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
I've had that, I had to up the settings in the default launcher's advanced settings, not to max just not minimum. BTW: Welcome to the Nexus. -
Though the extension may be hidden.

Actually 30 is the default :) ... something like 20 is good. Also, using the console is only good for that particular session. There is a mod available (forget the name) that allows you to pick the .esp for the time setting you want to use (including one for 1-to-1). That way, the time scale is set every time you start Fallout3. Hence the reason I added "(this is for the default timescale speed)" personally I use 3 & if you load a save that you had made when you had changed the timescale the game will still use the new setting.

try using the console code "set timescale to 30" without the quotes (this is for the default timescale speed) :ninja: ninja'd by csb :ninja:
