I would not totally discount religion....Just look at history. How could it survive the centuries (with billions of beleivers) if it was based on false dieties? We have siliced and diced genes, studied the human brain, analized social tendancies, ect. yet....we can't even sniff the absolute truth as far as sentinience 'cause'. All we can do so far is attempt to replicate human behavior via computer modelling, bioligics, and other so far feeble attemtpts to understand. Should media outlets actually be held accountable for what they report? Should a mere retraction be considered accountability? Considering the fact that they are often way too late and lacking in substance and exposure. Optics are playing a huge role in today's media. A reputation can be literally ruined ten times over before the stone-cold facts are revealed. Freedom of speech is one thing, but, so is integrity.

Voter turnout in 2014 was the lowest since WW deuce.....One cannot deny the dissatisfaction with the performance of Washington as a 'hole', but, the Republicans didn't form a wave by anything they accomplished. The pen and the phone, the IRS, fast and furious, the AP - FNC nonsense, the veterans administration, on and on....one scandal after another. The democrats have been laying in the green grass since 2007....things have actually gotten worse since then. "Blame it on Bush" ain't wrokin' no more. The sheen has been scraped off and the underlying truth exposed.

IMO, the low turn-out in the 2014 mid-terms was a result of lackluster (i'm being kind here) performance by the democrats in the last 6+ years. Mid-term elections are not known for voter turnout, but, the fact that the dems were swamped means only one thing...no one but the hard core lefty's are happy with the results. otherwise, they would have voted in 2014.

It's never the case. The ONLY reason that black markets exist is because of government regulations and taxes. Government involvement means higher prices....it's as simple as that. The OP read it, did not dismiss it, but, still doesn't know quite what to think. :) I just know that Islamic extremist are becoming a huge problem throughout the world, and, that we shouldn't get hung-up on semantic technicalities....I don't give a damn what flavor of religion(s) have been corrupted in self-righteous indignity, It's the corrupters that are the enemy, not the religion....as has been the case throughout history.
