Duke Nukem Forever. Nuff' said. It will forever *not* be in my heart.
-
I've never had any network or server lag issues at all. This sounds like a personal problem.
I second that. I have never had lag problems, unless I'm playing on an american server... Which is like, in the other side of the ocean?

Personally, I don't like the 3DS, so I'd say... Either a DSi or a DS Lite, the latter being, if you want to play Gameboy Advance games. I have a DSi myself, black matte finish, and I'm lovin' it :P

The point of playing a game is... Well... Playing it! If you have something that does it for you, it's not a challenge anymore.

spelling mistakes have nothing to do with rule breaking so why was i kicked for miss spelling a simple word
Actually. Try remembering what you said the moment you entered the chat. That's your answer, and the reason you got kicked out.

if youve bought any games though, they have credit card info and such as well
Not really. I buy all my games using paysafecards.

Reading about this has seriously lowered the chances of me getting Hitman: Absolution. What a let down :(

Recon + C4. Nuff' said. For main, either VSS or M14

It is obvious. Downloads is the total number of times something has been downloaded. Unique Downloads is the ammount of downloads per IP/account (Don't know which one it is actually). So if I download one of your mods twice, it'll count 2 for Downloads and 1 for Unique Downloads. Shame on you!

Steam discussion again? If you don't like New Vegas being on Steam, boycott it. People are upset about it but eventually end up buying the game anyways, so that point isn't even valid.
As for the thread theme, Steam isn't the cause. Piracy has been around for ages. People do piracy because they want, and they can get away with it.

humans are born with natural GOD-GIVEN rights, that NO ONE may take away. This applies to only the US? No. It applies to EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE.
Freedom of speech does not apply to private property so it is not EVERYONE and EVERYWHERE. If you think so then by all means go ahead and try to criticize your boss openly or go into somebody's house and call his wife/her husband an ugly lump of meat - then, when you are fired / thrown out, please try to sue them for violating your right to free speech. The court will put you straight on the issue.
I think that pretty much answers everything. I have to deal with a lot of people every day that think freedom of speech means speaking your mind, not caring about what other people think, or their rights. And that, my friend, is called being an ass. Just like thinking that everything that's public property can be subject to whatever you might feel like doing. Remember, public means it's everyone's. Not yours.

" There should be a list that is easy to find that lets you know what content earns a ban."
That's what I voted. Mainly, because if you upload it, people will probably download it. If you show the list beforehand, you'll be preventing a lot more. If you ban them on time, that is.
-
2,340,076 registered members. I think that says something. (While a percentage of them might be banned, or have multiple accounts, it's still a pretty high number.)

I haven't paid full price for any of my Steam games. How do people hate Steam with stuff like this.
Haters gonna hate, and spenders keep on spendin'
Already bought a few games, for that matter.
-
I call it "The Game Where You Walk Hand in Hand with other NPCs". And the wives were a tad annoying. But that aside, it was a very fun game to play. (If you count out that time where I killed someone by mistake during a battle and everyone labeled me a murderer everytime I went out in the streets.)

I might have explained it the wrong way. Small minorities would be a better term. 41% is not small, by any chance, but still a minority, or so it's meaning says.Hopefully, internet services and infrastructures will change for the better and we'll cease having such problems.
-
If it turns out to be a minority, it won't matter. Minorities aren't justifiable, economically/marketing wise.

Get a better internet connection and stop blaming Steam.
As far as an 'internet connection' goes: where I live it is extra expensive (nearly the same as the
cost of electricity - with a 5-20GB cap on traffic per month), and broadband here runs much slower than in other countries.
Steam forces you to update the game as soon as it is activated. It's mandatory. There's no real reasoning behind it. Sure, if you can afford to download the 1+ gig patches it's no big deal, but a lot of people CAN NOT get a better internet connection. Me included.
Offline mode is fine for the most part, but it can be pretty iffy. Just Cause 2 saves mess up if you're not connected, and even the launcher itself is prone to a lot of freezes. Not fun.
Perhaps you should look better. But then again, why blame Steam for a handful of games that have problems? There are a LOT of games avaliable on Steam. It's not a valid argument. I'm not saying I want to have Steam as Skyrim's DRM, but if it happens, I won't be mad about it either.
-
There we go again. Get a better internet connection and stop blaming Steam. If you bough the game on retail, you can still install it using the DVD, but you'll need to activate the game on steam. Nothing more. You can also use Steam on offline mode, you'll just need an internet connection to activate the game first. You could sue the company all you want, but you'd be losing money, that's for sure.

I'd rather have a computer that works like a beast, but looks bland. I often compare it to tuning cars. No matter how nice your paintjob and accessories are, if you don't have a good engine, it's crap. So, yes, Alienware is way too overpriced for what it is. For 2,9k you would manage to assemble a really, really nice gaming rig yourself.
-
Whew. Thankfully, mine wasn't either. What's up with these people anyways? Cyber-terrorism should have drastic measures.
-
Whenever I get the game, might post something here again. Good thing that you're recruiting people here :D [Might buy it on Monday]<br>
-
because I'm probably going to end up buying it.
Our wallets keep on crying. But it's so worth it. :ohdear:
Amnesia: The Dark Decent....???

I second that. I only play Amnesia after midnight, headphones, and all of the lights out.
