HadToRegister
Just look at the posts tab in some mods, people are very angry. And in most cases the modder isn't there anymore to solve the problem. Imagine if it had been written to work from day one.... You decide which mods to bother making yours compatible with by the number of downloads, clearly shown on nexus. EXAMPLES PLEASE. Do your own research. No, now I KNOW you're trolling You keep making claims, and when asked for evidence, you say "Do your own research" YOU made the claim, the burden of proof is on YOU Anyway, you're definitely trolling and are just loving the attention at this point
gnarly1
Do your own research work.Read the thread title. Now take your own advice.
hucker75
Just had a thought, why wasn't the game written to detect conflicts? Then the user could say which one takes precedence, or uninstall one. Should be pretty easy for the game to spot something overwriting something another mod did. showler
Because that would be of absolutely no benefit to Bethesda.
HeyYou
What showler said.... And also, Bethesdas own DLC would be detected as conflicts.... make the wrong choice on conflict resolution there, and you could easily bork your game.
hucker75
Well I assume it wouldn't let you easily disable a paid for DLC. And the benefit is happier customers.

hucker75
I'm not exactly an expert in that.
Fantafaust
Instead of complaining you could put such a list together yourself and get praised for doing so. Lot of work though.Or you could make a FO4Edit script to make a list of edited locations from a selected plugin, for everyone to use, then petition the Nexus team to add an optional compatibility section similar to the requirements section that compares people's modified location lists and automatically shows the conflicting locations. hucker75
It would have been less work if everyone added to a list when they made their mods, a bit late now though. I can't write scripts, I play the game I don't program it.
