How to have mods only used if game is started from vortex itself

I want to install some more mature mods, but my siblings use the computer as well and I don't want the mods to be active when they are playing. Is there any way to have this happen automatically?

 

Edit: My siblings only use VR so they won't be going into vortex for most of the games that they want to play.

If using Vortex you'd have to Purge the mods before exiting each time.

 

Or, set up a Profile without mods and switch to that before exiting.

that is not really a viable option in this case, is there any way using scheduled tasks to have it trigger a purge from the command line?

If they have their own user login for your PC, vortex can be instanced with its own standalone mods staging, dl folder, etc. Which would restrict their ability to even source anything inappropriate. Extra storage vs globally sharing folders though.

They use my account so they have access to my steam library's VR games

I meant the setting vortex profile in the arguments, like what is the name of the argument for that
